Default shock

This is my first time posting on this site. I guess I just need to talk about my experience. I am 37 yrs with 11yr old twins. I realized my period had not come and I took a pregnancy test. To my shock I was pregnant. Wow- I didn't see that coming. I wrapped my head around this and became soooooo excited. I figured I was around 5 to 6 weeks pregnant. A week later I had one drop of blood (red) no cramping at all. I went in for an u/s. Everything looked fine except for a slow HB. It was 98. The Doc didn't seem worried and said she would like to check it again next week. Four days later I went back. Shock again. The ultrasound tech said there was no heartbeat detected at all. I nearly passed out. I couldn't believe this. I went back for another u/s the very next day. Same thing. Nothing. I didn't see this coming. I am having a hard time dealing with this. I try to act as if I'm ok so my family will be ok. It doesn't seem as if the miscarraige is going to happen on it's own. I have had no other bleeding, no cramping nothing. I am scheduled for a D&C on Tuesday. I want a baby soooo bad. My heart hurts but I know God has a plan for all of us. I will never know why this happened. I didn't think I wanted any more children. I desperately want another child now. I only knew that I was pregnant for about two weeks. It's amazing how quickly a bond can form. I want to try again asap. My Doc says to wait 3mths. I don't know if I can wait that long!

thanks for listening

Hi jjjl6498

So sorry for your loss we are all on here for the same reason I am 44 and lost my baby 3 wks ago similar to you but was 12 wks and started spotting went for ultrasound and no heart beat so I went in for a D&C that day it wasn't too bad just a general anasethtic then when you come around you realize your bub is really gone and its heart wrenching but we have to pick ourselves up and try to make the best of it. I had really bad tearful days the first 2 wks and its gradually got easier mainly I think because since the bleeding stopped I am going all out to get pregnant again. My GP said I was fine to try after a normal AF but I coudn't even wait for that. The D & C was ok a lot of pain afterwards for about 48hrs then bleeding not too heavy for 4 days and that was it.
So you find yourself here with all of us in a similar position and we all keep each other going and give each other hope and one day soon we will all get a BFP and life will be good again we never forget the angels we lost we just learn to go on with life the best we can.

Sending you a

jjjl6498 I am so sorry to hear about your loss
I can understand the wanting to try again as soon as possible and the bond you feel for your baby regardless of how long you have had to prepare for them. As for trying again it is recommended wait till your first period after a D&C (usually 4-6weeks) but 3months is old schooled unless there is another reason and everyone you speak to will tell you something different. If you do want to try before then I would get a second opinion. Im sure you will get a different answer.
