HI all .. did everyone have a great christmas ?? We did here but in the end i had to say "no more toys" i begged my mum next year to just buy clothes in current and bigger sizes .. it wasnt so much my mum who loaded the toys on to the kids but my MIL ... she is a sweetie and i love her .. but how many cars/trucks/things with wheels can nixon have !! we are going through the toy room next weekend to clear out the old and make way for the new !! all the older stuff im taking to the markets in Feb and selling them !!

i got loaded with fabbo pressies like diamond earring and watch and 2 of those willow tree figureines you see in jewellery stores .. i love them !!

i loved going to my sisters on xmas day and seeing my dad a gma , then on boxing day was a huge party with my mums side ... loads of ppl there and the kids got more toys!! i just kept them in there boxes for a rainy day ..

we didnt go to the sales .. overrated really .. got enough of everything so i took DH to JBHIFI to spend his vouchers that he got .. lol he loves that shop ..he got a doodah for his 2nd wife (xbox) and a all in one remote control .. its just 1 remote and it does everything .. i dont do electroninc things .. but i must admit its pretty cool ...

WOW has gabriella gotten sooo big .. shes just over the 6kg (im guessing ) i weighed her 2 weeks ago and she was5.8 so i reckon shes over 6 now .. and her rolls on her legs are soo cute ..

shes into floor play and loves grabbing her foot to put it in her mouth .. she can roll to her side but not all the way over .. and loves the bumbo too ...

but on the reflux and BF front things havent improved ... her crying has settled and the refluxing only bothers her when shes tired .. but her spitting up has increased .. its not this thick clumpy white/yellow stuff and it smells like sour milk ( i guess thats what it is) if its not fresh milk she brings up its the white stuff ..

and her right leg is shorter than the left .. her calf is bowed in and when you straighten them both out you can really tell the difference .. its about 1cm shorter .. i dont know if its going to sort it self out .. its been like that since birth ...

i will ask the doctor about it when i go for a pap smear next week .. eek i dont like getting them done .. i am over due by about 2 yrs ...

i have put pics up on FB if you want to see updated ones ... nixon also got his 1st hair cut ... he looks like one of the bullies from the simpsons now

Hi Everyone,
we had a great xmas here and we now have some boys toys for the little man!
The kids got a springfree trampoline from santa, cost a fortune but it will be used til it dies! and it gives me loads of free time YIPPY. Had all the inlaws up and DH only home for 1day so that was a bit full on. Am very tired now and over cleaning LOL. DH has a brisbane overnight on NYE so we are going into the city to watch the fireworks with him. The kids and i will then have a day in brisbane and DH will come back to the hotel for dinner then he does a bit more flying on the 2nd and will be home that night...Did i just make any sense???

Tom is rolling onto his side too Lea but not all the way over. I think its his cloth nappies stopping the full roll as i have been using my flats...i just love them in the hot weather...I wonder if they make bamboo flats???

Tom loves his tummy time and is sleeping for about 9-10 at night! its amazing for me seeing the girls never did this. I just didnt think BF babes could LOL. He spoils me....now if i could only get the 2yr and 4 yr olds to stay in their beds LOL...

Talk soon Love Amelia

Oh forgot to say, things have got heated in another birth story section.....wonder where it will end!

Hi girls,

Niamh, I know what you mean about time flying, Liam is a few weeks older and is almost 4 1/2 months old now!!! My DD is almost 2...OMG!!!!! I want to step into a time maching sometimes and go back just to see her as a baby again, she was such a pretty baby....now such a grown up, independant, beautiful toddler. Growing up is good, but it's all going waaaaayyyyyyy too fast!

Lea, you did well for chrissy! Diamonds huh, you lucky chicken!! I know what you mean about too many toys, I have put some of Lily's away too cause she just got way too much for her to play with at once. So I packed away for a rainy day too . I got a wii, some money and a digital camera. So I did pretty well too, yay!
Sorry to hear your bfing isn't any easier. It must be really frustrating for you I hope the dr can tell you something good about her leg too. And yep, I'm waayyy overdue for a pap smear too, ugh! I keep on putting it off, but really need to have one done....

Milly, I love the look of those spring frre tramps. I'd love too have one if we had a yard, LOL!
WOW @ your DH's work roster! He sounds like a very busy man! I hope you all get some good quality time together. And going to see the fireworks sounds great!!

Well, we are doing ok. I had a meltdown the other day. Just sooo over it all. DD is so full on and I am so sleep deprived, she just doesn't sleep through, still waking 1-5 times a night and getting up with Liam 2-4 times....well doesn't leave much time for me to sleep. She's also growing out of one of her days sleeps (yep, I'm lucky enough to still get 2 sleeps out of her most days!) but she's in between needing 2 and 1. And if she has 1 she's grumpy as by 6pm, but if she has 2 she's wide eyed and bushy tailed when mummy's eyes are hanging out of her head! Annnnyyyyyywaaayyy.....
Liam is so beautiful. He's very placid and just a pleasure. He's really happy and smiley and gorgeous! He is starting to teethe I think. He's very very drooley, can wet through a bib in a matter of 10mins! He will gnaw on anything within reach of his slimey little mouth, and he has big swollen gums and red cheeks. I don't know if they will pop through, but they're definately moving around in there.
He is also rolling, back to front, front to back, all around the room. And he looks like he's trying to crawl too. He can push his head and shoulders right up and gets onto his knees with his face in the carpet, LOL! He also gets up on his toes and hands with his bum in the air. Only for a few seconds, but I don't think it will be long before he's on the move.
Ok gonna go, I hope everyone is well
Bye!

Hi everyone, nice to hear everyone had a lovely Christmas, such a busy time of year!

Tobias has decided he's a tummy sleeper. Makes me a little nervous sometimes but Brianna's a tummy sleeper too, cant remember her age when she started though. I have the anglecare sounds & movement monitor so not too worried about the sleeping on tummy thing. I suppose you just have to accept it once they can roll on their own there's nothing you can do to stop them doing it as soon as you leave the room LOL
He's also doing lots of stomach crunches haha trying to sit up, he raises his arms & bends the top half of his body upwards & he can stay like that for ages until someone holds his hands sits him up... he still cant sit unaided but he enjoys being in the sitting up position. He also loves the jolly jumper!

argh sorry for no personals, just about to head off to bed, had dinner at BIL's house tonight.... lovely as always

Incase I dont get back...

Happy New Year everyone & stay safe!

xxx

Hello all

*charmalea* Eireann is doing that as well , its so cute watching her talking to her hands and trying to grab her feet. she is such a happy little thing. although I don't think she is small at all ild say she is around 8kg lol. glad you had a great Christmas mine was nice even though all my family is in Ireland except my brother i'm delighted he was here and is staying for about a month its great. ild say your a bit worried about Gabriella leg let us know what the doctor says. good luck with the smear, i had mine a while ago haven't got the results, but I'm sure if any thing was wrong i would have heard.

Milly wow sounds full on lol, that sounds like a lovely night in Brisbane hope your poor DH gets a break soon.

lilias you poor thing i hope they sleep better for you, may be when DD cuts out a nap she will sleep better, i hope so any way. wow that's great getting ready to crawl already. Eireann is rolling around every were now and tries to lift her head up when she is lying down. im so tired today had friends over and it was a late night and my 5 year old woke me up early then I had to get up with Eireann. so broken sleep as well

think ill go have a look for that thread see what its all about lol

Happy new year girls may all your dreams come true

BOO!!

LMAO

Yes i do still exist, just in a VERY busy way.

Christmas season hit in the first week of december and DIDNT STOP. Now it has and its so nice to just "be".

Christmas was good, it hit with a flurry of chaos and mess but it was all good fun. Kids got spoilt. I got a diamond ring and a GPS which is very fun and takes the stress out of driving now.

Kids are in DC today so its just me and little C, we are going to go and do food shopping later.

C is a pleasure. She's rolling and talking and giggling and blowing raspberries and still vomiting LOL But at least she does it with a smile She's sleeping awesome nights, generally of about 12 hrs, basically anywhere between 10 and 14 hrs. She feeds more in the day because of it though, but thats fine with me.

Have you seen those tummy tub baths? I got one a couple of months ago. Fantastic. Excellent for colic and reflux. I just put her in there and her wind comes up and she is so settled after. Easy to store and just easy to do everything with really.

Lea- Dont stress about Gabby and her weight, i think C weighs less than Gabby and my CHN isnt concerned. They've slapped 2 of my kids with the "failure to thrive" label now simply because they dont follow the "books and lines", they have now realised that this is just the make up of my kids and leave me alone. Now they look at how they look, if they are happy and content, if they have a bit of meat on their bones. They dont concern with what the scales say, as long as they follow their own curve and if Gabby is doing that then she is doing well, if she drops off her curve then theres cause for concern. You are doing fantastically with her hun.

Milly- To me, there are some things "not right" with that birth story. Did you think that to? Some things just dont add up to me. But im not one to say anything, i just offer support and move on.

I hope you all had a good christmas and have a Happy New Year

I hope you are all doing well too. Im off for a rest before going shopping

Kristi

Oh Kristi, dont get me started. I just tried to calm everyone down and i got some nice feed back for that but yes it didnt all add up. The only sort of tough thing i said was that "She wasnt an innocent victim of some random attack" there was a lot of blame thrown around but no self assesment as to what she could have done differently. I was just worried that she is TTC and could make all the same "mistakes" if she doesnt think about how it inform and impower herself next time.... but ay what would i know??

Hay what is the point of becoming a member or lifetime member??

Hi Girls...
I've been so rude and haven't replied to all your posts.. your all so good....I have been keeping up on it all though.

We had an awsome first christmas with Jorja. MIL came over from NZ and we all headed to Tamworth to spend it with my family. Jorja was absolutley spolit rotten by all the family... we brought her 2 things... figured everyone else would spoil her.
We had 4 gernerations of girls there!!!!
Jorja had her first swim in the big pool and she loved it!!!!!!!

I WANT ANOTHER ONE!!!!!! I'm so in love with being a mum i want another one soon... shame df doesn't agree.... he wants a min of 2.5 yrs b/n them LOL

I've just started using cloth nappies and MCN's...OMG how awesome!!!! How come I didn't hear about these before!!!!!!!!! DF isn't as keen but his coming around.

I hope that everyone who is sick is feeling better now and I promise that I'll do a more personalised reply next time.

xxx

Milly- Yep, i completely agree with you. Completely. Im sort of kicking myself that i didnt keep up with that thread to see what others had to say now. Yay on getting to shave your legs, how wonderful

Jennjorja- good to hear you had a good christmas. I would like another one too. Funny how quickly you forget the pain and if you had a rough pregnancy, the joy of your baby is overwhelming i think 2 months ago i was like "Yeah, nup" cos little C was an irritable baby but now shes such a good baby and such a please im like "Yeah, yep" Now to try and convince DH to go for number 7.

OMG Kristi there is no way i thought that you would wat another! thats great news if you can get DH to agree LOL. Hope they can fix your tummy! We were born in the wrong time, 200 years ago people would have said "what you are stopping with only 4 children" LOL

Jen: How weird is this but i saw some photos on facebook that one of my friends had commented on and i swear it must be you. It was in Tamworth, and their were 4 generations of women "that had all had girls first"??? and then photos of a Jorja in the "Big pool" with her mum???? Jorja was then in the bath and got something off santa that she liked to eat the rest of the day? i only looked at the photos cause the baby was so cute!- I feel like i am stalking you now LOL....i cant remember what friend now tho.....ill think on it!
