Jazz is now obsessed with the rides in supermarkets. She's been on them a few times, at our local shopping centre, they have a few of those carosel type ones where 3 kids can go in at once. She's been for a ride on those where other people with kids have offered to pay, tonight she went on one that we paid for...that was it. She didn't want to get off when it finished and any time she saw another ride thing she would let go of our hands and run over to it and then throw a huge tantie when we took her away from it. We're trying to get her to say bye bye to things when we don't want her to do something or when it's time to keep walking - it wasn't working tonight though.
Another thing that I thought was so cute. At FDC the FDC lady's grandson who is 3...we'll call him B...said to me "Jazzy's mum, can I come to Jazzy's house to play?" I said maybe another day after I've gotten to know his mummy better. Then he kept saying "You get to know my mummy so I can play at Jazzy's house" And when Jazz left, she gave him 2 big kisses! It was so cute. When Jazz & I got into the car, I said "Is B your boyfriend?" and she said "Yeah, Lub B..."

we let him sit on the rides occasionally but never put money in.. it can become a bad habit...

Yeah MJ loves the rides too, i dont put any money in either, that way we can always get away after a bit of fun without tears etc.
When she is older and she can understand why sometimes she can and others she cant she occasionally will get some money, more from DH - personally i think they are a total waste of money... she gets just as mush fun from sitting on them anyway.
Danni - if you get KFC - which is something that you have to do at times, i know sometimes there just insint time... how about getting her the potato and gravey and some chicken peices that you can take the skin off, that way she will be getting less of the fatty stuff, just a suggestion thou.
sometimes we have fish and chips, i always have mashed veggies and cheese in the freezer that i thaw and she has some grilled fish. She does however LOVE dimsims and so we buy her a steamed one. there are always healthier ways of having fast food
Prama - Mj is really bossy too
GO SAINTS!!!!!!

yeah.. any news yet??
yeah.. i think those rides are a waste of money.. a bit of a rip off if you ask me!
poopy loves dimsums when we go for yum cha. we give him the steamed ones too. they are soo yummy. chips- i've given ones ive made myself, oven baked so not deep fried.
the only indulgence we give him is chocolate milkshake but just a little each time and very occasionally. needless to say, like me, he loves it. but i reckon he's got his whole life to try different things, so we can slowly introduce different things as he gets older.

MJ doesnt really like chips oven baked or bought wich is good, its why we have mashed chessy veg loads - im actually cooking a batch now as DSS LOVES it too - would prefer it to salad, but still has chips if they are on offer.
the bad things that she has is shapes or chips if we have them for DSS - when we went away for a week, it was his car snacks, we had different ones for her - obviously she noticed and it didnt work well - but sge has them so infrequently that i dont have a problem with it really. LOL poopy like choclate milkshake - his namesake!
Nope no noew yet - i will tell you as i said, 2 ww

i think kids forget abt snacks if they dont see them.

Popcorn chicken isn't too fatty i find the real pieces of chicken are much more greasy. It's much harder not allowing little one's snacks when you have the bigger one's eating them and Summer usually eats lots of fast food and lollies when she is at her Dad's place which really makes it hard it actually really annoys me because she comes home sometimes and hasn't eaten breakfast or eaten any thing healthy that day at all... Just one of the many things you have to deal with thru divorce...
Yes any news yet SJ?????
Well I got my brace off today and should be off crutches in a week or so YAY!!!!! Can't do much exercise for 6 weeks tho which is a bit annoying...
Ah better go Codie just got home from the Cook Islands

Well, life's fantastic here again. DH's boss hasn't given me the money he was sposed to get on Friday. So I can't pay my rent. So could very easily get kicked out....specially since I have an inspection on Wednesday & am thinking I still won't have the rent paid.
Jesse & Bri have needles on Wednesday too, so need some bloody petrol money...when ever this money comes. DH ran out of credit trying to get hold of him to find out what the hell is going on. I've sent an email & text message. Still nothing.
Just a tad stressed & bloody p*ssed off.
Must feel a bit better Trina
SJ....waiting!!!

Not sure if i can swim will have to ask physio they seem to know more about the rehab than the surgeon lol he said i can only go on the bike can't even walk on the treadmill slowly they said i can't swim because of the kicking and def no breaststroke i could maybe swim but have to have a ball between my legs might be ok now that my arms aren't doing as much work on the crutches.
Aww Skye it sux when everything turns to poo all the time things are starting to go better for me it took lots of changes and heartache to get here tho. If you ever need a vent send me a message babe xoxo
Summer is such a funny little monkey had a friend look after her today when i was at the hospital she was in hysterics half the time hehe so cute...

Conjunctivitis is crap! We all had it last year. Not fun! And a sore bum Poor Poopy!
Well I spoke to Anths boss today. He reckons he's gonna get onto it straight away. Not so sure yet...there's no money in my account & going CBA to CBA it should be showing up by now. I'm just praying it happens tomorrow.
i gotta get this rent caught up so I don't get kicked out! And I gotta get to town for the kids needles on Wednesday arvo...after the stupid house inspection!
Your life does sound alot better Trina So happy that you are so much happier!!

From 13 October Jazz will stop going to the FDC lady (P) that she's been going to since she was 3 months old. I'm so sad. I think I'll cry on her last day which is actually 8 October. She's going to be going Mon-Fri to another FDC lady (J). She stared there this week going Mon & Fri only, but then another parent was asking about Tues & Thurs and the lady only has one spot on each day left and I'd asked her to tell us first so we could have the option...therefore I snapped it up!
We will keep in touch with P and her family. P's grandson adores Jazz.

Congrats Prama. I hope it all goes well and now will be looking out for announcements from you and SJ. TTC#2 will still be a while off for us. Maybe a couple more years.

Had the inspection today. Finally got our rent caught up yesterday. A bit relieved, but I think all the stress has gotten to me. My glands are all swollen & really sore So tired.
Looking forward to the long weekend Doing everything I can to hold onto some money to take the kids to what ever is on in town. They used to have a big VW show that would line the main street, & at one stage there was a vintage car show & shine or something in Valla too. About 5 kms past Nambucca where we do our shopping etc.
So one or both should be fun. Hope they still do them!
SJ....I'm really going to annoy you! Its gotta be 2 weeks now! If not its been long enough! Test already!!!
