Hey All,

Sorry have not written for a while - life has been busy busy!
Bella is crawling now and has 7 teeth. She was at the hospital on Monday as she had a kidney infection - she was so sick I was really really worried! She is on antib's now and is better.

Have printed out Bellas b'day invites and now have to give them out. But its not till Dec 6th ( borthday 8th) so pleanty of time to get em out!

Thats about it for me, busy busy! Working 2 days a week and flat out!

Of to my mum and dads today for raost lunch - Bella LOVES roast lunch!!

Yep Kate...af is here...oh well! Am sorry to hear about Bellas kidney infection. I had one when I was 19 and it was the most horrible thing. I had uti' s ever since I was little and I remember I let it go too long and ended up with the kidney infection. I actually havent had a uti since giving birth to Olivia...a change from getting it every time af arrived! Poor little poppet...I really feel for her...and you of course, must have been an awful time for you. Hope she is on the mend.

Kate so sorry to hear about the kidney infection! I had one when I was pregnant, and it was awful! So painful. Glad Bella is feeling better now!

Mel sorry to hear AF came.....hopefully the month after next will be your month!

Mia has woken a couple of times already tonight which is weird, she has been sleeping well lately. I think her top teeth are bothering her, she is covered in drool, poor bub.

Have a day off tomorrow yay! I get to spend it with my bubba....but working Thur and Fri. Bringing Mia to work on Thur, might be interesting!

Poor lil' chicken, uti's are awful and I imagine a kidney infection would be much worse!! Glad to hear she's on the mend....and see, u didn't need to worry bout the crawling after all, bet ur on ur feet all the time now she's found her freedom to move, lol!!

Leigh, glad to hear Lara's party went well, I'm not feeling overly organised for Sienna's party - the only thing I've bought so far is jelly crystals, lol, so I know the week before will be a bit of a stress, but I'm looking forward to it, should be lots of fun!!

Mel, bummer bout AF, hopefully the month after next (after you've had your break) will be your lucky month (((((( hug ))))))

Hey girls, just a quick hello while I have a bit of time.

Kate - Hope Bella is doing ok now, poor little girl. I've never had a uti or kidney infection so I can't imagine what she is going through but it can't be nice.

Melissa - Bugger on AF showing up. Hopefully after your break you will fall pregnant. The break will give you time to sort out your cycle.

Skyblue - Hope you enjoyed your day off yesterday. Have you made a trial cake yet for Mia's b'day? Hope it turns out great. What type of cake are you doing?


Melly - Sienna sounds like a busy little girl. My girls have a better social life than me too.

I have to take Lara for her 12 month check up and immunisations tomorrow. Will be interesting to see how much she has grown. I haven't weighed her for ages.

Took the girls to Muddies this morning (its a playground/water play area on the esplanade here) they had a great time. Its so hot up here so great water weather.

Smoz - I don't even make my kids b'day cakes, I am slack and buy them ha ha. I just asked skyblue that coz she said she was going to do a trial one first to see how it turned out,

Took Lara to the dr for her 12 month check up, all is well with her. Her stats are:

Weight: 9.9 kg (2.7 kg birth)
Length: 75.5 cm (42 cm birth)
HC: 45 cm (30.2 cm birth)

Forgot to tell you that my GP gave me a referral to go back and see the ob who performed my c/s to see if there is any chance I can have another bub. Just waiting to hear back from them with an appointment time. I will get good news!!!

haahaa im usually slack too Leigh but when i had theo i promised myself that even if they are dodge i will make the birthday cakes, don't care if i order catering for everything else i'm determined to make at least their birthday cake heehee It's actually quite fun now i just gotta decide on Tallon's design....

Good luck leigh with the ob appointment. I am not a baker really but since having the girls I have tried my best. The elmo cake I made in april for Olivias 2nd birthday was the make or break of my cake making! I made one for dh's birthday and it was....not great. Tasted better the next day in the microwave with loads of cream!!! Thankfully elmo was a hit!

Am in a bit of thought at the minute. Dh's business is a bit slow, so am thinking of going back to work. I dont really want to put the girls in full time care, but would be happy to have a nanny. I would like to do night shift, but would need someone to cover for when dh has to go to work early..say 6am and I wouldnt get home til 8am, then I would need to sleep til about 3pmish. I wonder if I could find someone who could do those hours. I am also wondering how much it might cost. Anyone have any clues? Skye...is that what you do? Is there anyone I can get in touch with?

Other than that, all is well. Bec has cut her 8th tooth and thankfully it has been less traumatic for her...just a snotty nose.

Oh and is anyone else doing night feeds still?? I am trying to cut them out! Rebecca still has loads of bottles too. Some days she has 4...actually most days!

Hey all,

Just a quick one - Bella has concked early tonight so Im gunna hit the hay too! She is not going to bed till 9.30 - 10 these nights and thats not cool!! But she sleeps till 8.30ish in the morning so I get a sleep in on non work days.

Working 2 days a week for 6 hrs a day and I really enjoy it = helps that my mum looks after her and they adore each other!!

Bella is cutting her 8th tooth as well! This one is ok too.. not to bad.

I am planning Bellas b'day bash! I have 16 adults and 7 kids coming so far! And I have a Kombi cake to make and we are having pony rides!! Only because its at mum and dads farm and we already own a pony!!

Bella is crawling and cruising the couch.. I think she will be walking by her b'day!

Anyways - sorry no personals!! Hope you are all well!

Hey Melissa - Im not sure what her user name was!! But her name was Anna and she and I were the last ones left to have our bubs!!

Bella is back to %100 - I have to take her to our GP next week for a check up and a referal to get her kidneys scanned - Ekkk!

Kate - Bella's party sounds like it will be awesome!! You're lucky on the sleep ins. Lara woke at 6am this morning, 6:30am yesterday, 8:30am on Tuesday. She is unpredictable with her wake up times. I would love it if she slept until at least 7:30 am each day. Coz her and Cadence share a room I have to get in there really quick so she doesnt wake her up. I don't need two kids up at 6am. Good luck for when you get Bella's kidneys scanned.

Melissa - Good luck finding a nanny. I am sure there will be someone out there who would love to work those hours. Lara doesn't do night feeds so I am no help to you there, sorry. She is still on 2 - 3 bottles a day. But I am going to try and cut her down to two permanently. I still have her on formula, coz we still have a few tins left but will soon put her on cows milk.

Well I have gotta go and do some house work. Not that I feel like it coz I have woken up with a cold this morning.

Minimatron - fingers crossed for next month. You asked about a nanny - I have one on a Tuesday - 9 am - 3 pm - through an agency - she is fantastic, the kids lurve her. So PM me if you want the details of the agency - basically you can get a nanny for whatever times you need.

Kate - sounds like Bella's party will be awesome, I havn't even started planning Finny's yet. Good luck with Bella's kidney results - how scary for you.

Yep, I do remember an Annabelle - her, Kate and me were the last three to pop I think. Gee amazing to think that was nearly a year ago, how time flies when your up to your arms in poop

Gosh, sorry my brain has gone dead, so no more personals. Life is just hectic these days.....and now Finny has woken up, oh dear.
