
I always said " we are having a VBAC" very firmly, but like Sarah I knew there was the possibility that things might not go to plan.
I think for me it is more about the fact that
every labour has the potential to end in
CS, I don't see why a VBAC should be looked at any differently, IYKWIM.
Women who are having their first baby don't say "I am trying for a vaginal birth"
But it's an easy trap to fall into, especially with so many health care workers using the 'trying' word, or 'attempting'.

don't worry about it too much, Sarah's advice is good advice! be positive about your VBAC but keep in mind that
just like any other labour it might not go to plan
