Default Dr Seems Fine with VBAC

I wasn't really expecting this, but my private ob seems fine with a VBAC.

We recently discussed birth options for the first time and I said that I would rather not have another c/s. He said that was fine. Explained the risk of rupture, but said that it was a small risk. Also talked about the importance of going into labour spontaneously and what options for induction were available.

It is still early days and I'm sure we will discuss it further. I was just a bit surprised. I guess after reading quite a bit on this site I thought I would come up against some opposition. But it seemed to be a non issue.

Now we just wait and see if this bub will cooperate.

I was the same with Oskar, thought I'd have a fight on my hands but in fact it was quite the opposite. I think we go on the defensive in our minds ready to fight for what we want and expect that everyone is going to be the opposition. Sounds like you have a great OB!
