Hi I am 20wks pregnant with baby #3. I am considered high risk this time, which is completely foreign to me since I usually go through birthing centres. This time I will be delivering at Monash Clayton. Also doing Calmbirthing classes soon to hopefully help me cope.

Looking for a trainee doula for support and to help me not stress out during the birth in a sterile hospital room! I can be contacted on mrscazoraz@gmail.com

cheers
xxxCaz

I'm in Fremantle, Western Australia and looking for a trainee doula. I'm 1st trimester so it won't be for some months yet. I'm not sure whether I'll be birthing in hospital (I was very unhappy with Kaleeya the first time around both the antenatal care and the birthing experience and I really don't want to go down the KEMH route). I want a homebirth but I don't think it'll be possible since I live in a small flat in a block of units. Whatever happens, I still want a doula. My email is L_I_Pierre@hotmail.com .

If I end up in hospital, I really need a doula who'll kick the staff in the butt if they ignore me and treat me like an inconvenience or a freak like last time. If I have a homebirth I'll just need usual support e.g. pain relief techniques. I was hoping my Doula might double as my camera person too!

edit: I'm discovering that I have a fair bit of unresolved feelings relating to my previous birth so I'd like to forewarn any students lol! I think that some experience would be ideal, I don't think I'd make a very good first birth! So I'm still open to a student, but preferrably one with some experience.

Hi there!

I am just updating to say that I have finally booked my last certifying birth and will no longer be offering my services for free. However, for the time being I will be charging a reduced fee until I feel that my services are worth their value.

I would like to thank anyone who helped me along the way, without your support I would not have made it this far in my Doula travels!

Take Care!
x

Hi,

I am almost 20weeks with my 2nd child. EDD is 24th March 2010...
We are giving birth at Tweed Hospital.

If there are any Trainee Doula's who are available around this time and in this area, please contact me ASAP.

We are after a completely natural, intervention free birth.

My email is jess5ash@hotmail.com if you would like to respond to me directly.

Jess
