Twins or More Just when we thought having one baby was tricky enough, mums to multiples often have extra challenges with two or more babies of the same age. If you are a mum to twins or more, this is where you can exchange experiences and support with others.

Default How long were you sick for with TWINS?

Hi everyone,
I am now 15 weeks PG and I feel the sickness, tiredness is getting worse and worse. Is it true that you dont start feeling better till 20 weeks?
I have been struggling thru each day and have been told this fact and am stressed at the thought.
When did the sickness/tiredness ease up for you? With both my single PG it was right on 12 weeks, this just keeps getting worse!
Thanks

Congrats on your twins!

Sorry to say but i was sick with my twins from the day they were conceived until the day i delivered. I lived off a wonderful drug called Zofran! See your OB about it. I lost 20kg when i was preggers with them. Zofran at least let me keep some water in!

With this pregnancy i was sick until around 14 weeks and have been really good since.

Make sure that you dont get dehyrated and little bits of food often!
take care and rest up!!

Congratulations on the TWINS. Were you shocked to find out you had 2 bubs?

I was really really sick for about 15-17wks every day and then it was every other day for a week and finally ended at about 20wks. Its awful i know I stuck with water and dry crackers and ginger lollies helped.

Good luck

Ann

For me it was 18 weeks when mine stopped. It was horrific for the first 15 or so weeks and I was vomiting about 6 or so times a day. I took Maxilon every day. Then after that it got gradually better until 18 weeks when it disappeared. I hope it stops for you soon. There is nothing worse is there?

Hi there!

Congratulations on your twin pregnancy!

I felt unwell up till 16 wks. I found if I took small meals throughout the day it made me less sick. Ginger water helped. What I did was boil up some sweet potatoes, suger and a 1cm slice of ginger into soup (it's like a dessert) it helped, plus the kids love it especially after refridgerated, but drinking it while it was warm was better for my tummy. Didn't feel so nocuous after the drink and sweet potatoes are good for you!
