First Fertility Specialist Appoinment

What question should I ask ,I'm trying to create a list to take to our first appointment but I just can't think of anything, which is driving me mad because I hate not being organised.

I'm seeing Dr Esler, does anyone know what he is like?

What should I expect from my first appointment?

I'm seeing the FS about recurrent loss, if that helps.

Generally at the first FS appointment the FS does most of the talking. He/she will have lots of questions for you. You will most likely get sent for BT's, ultrasound & possibly a lap. If you have anything specific you want to ask make sure you write it down & keep it on a note in your hand so you don't forget to ask.

Hi KAM...hope all goes well at your appointment.

I agree...the FS will do alot of talking and will ask you alot of questions about your journey so far. It can save time if you organise all your test results/records from you current Dr to take with you. Don't stress if you can't as they will get hold of them anyway. I also found I would get emotional talking about everything we'd been through so I have typed out a basic overview with dates etc just to jog my memory for answering all the questions. Just take your time...FS will probably send your off for more test like Satya said...I always asked for them to be written down so I could think about it all later...and ask the girls on bb what they all mean!@?!
