YouTube - Miscarriage - How To Deal With Loss, What Helped/Helps Me, Advice, Ideas & Honesty

In this video I discuss how I deal/t with my miscarriage.

I'd love for this to be a resource for anyone who sadly is dealing with pregnancy loss.

Much love to anyone who is dealing with pregnancy loss, now and always

Obviously everyone copes differently and feels differently about loss. However, this is what helped me (and didn't help me) deal with what was (and still is) the single most difficult thing I've ever been through.

This day, one year ago, I heard the words no Mum-to-be should hear "There is no heartbeat, I'm so sorry" and my whole world changed. We miss you Ollie xxx

I think you are very brave putting yourself out there like that. I would say it will help a lot of people. I didn't have time to watch it all, but will come back and watch it later.. Sorry for the loss of Ollie

Thank you for making & posting your video.I'm sorry for your loss.I found out at routine scan that my baby was measuring 2 weeks behind dates and his heart had stopped beating,3 days later Matthew left my body at 14 weeks.Like you I found naming him helped also forums like this even if you just read as I have for the last 8 months. My next goal is to write our story on here.

Default thanks

I'm so sorry you lost your little Oliver.

Thank you so much for posting your video. It was incredibly brave of you. I really appreciated your honesty. Whilst no one should have to lose a child, its comforting to know there are people like you willing to share your stories with us to help us with ours. I can relate to all of what you said. I find writing in a journal quite carthartic and talking to others in the same boat helps too. People fortunate enough not to have lost a child can offer only so much support. I find I get more comfort and support from those who have gone through this than those who've never experienced such loss. If you ever do make the video of what not to say to people in our situation, I can give you a couple of the most insensitive things to say ever that were said to me! My favourite offensive words come from pregnant women who know you've just lost your baby and still grizzle about how uncomfortable and large they are. THINK people THINK!
Anyway, thanks again for sharing your story. Its helped me
