You could accidentally drop her on a hard floor (several times) Bath! I tried it with my old Sunbeam but the blasted thing just won't break!

Just take to the cable with a pair of scissors and blame one of the kids. Really Bath you don't need to find an excuse to get one, just do it woman!

I just have this thing about "using stuff up" before I get new ones... and I can't cheat LOL I once stitched a cross stitch sampler that says: "use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without" and *squirm* Well I'm sure old Tiffany will cark it eventually... geeze, I hope she doesn't go on and on like this pair of grey socks I've been trying to "use up" for 12 years!!!

i got my candy apple red KA yesterday and she is gorgeous! i can't work out how to upload a photo, will keep trying. dh had no idea what one was. i told him that my family had lay-byed one for my birthday and he was just like 'ah, yeah..whatever'.....well......when i pulled it out of the box yesterday he could not believe it! he is in love with it and couldn't stop playing with it. he even moved the toaster and kettle to give it 'pride of place' on the bench as he reckons it looks so cool LOL cracked me up! he loves the colour too
am yet to use it, might have to make something this afternoon i think!

...My nana was going to buy me one for our wedding present and I told Mum to politely try to tell her that she is completely insane and that I'd never use one.
Now I want one so I can see what all this fuss is about XDD

Where is the best place to get a KitchenAid do you think?
I admitted to dh that I let Riv play with the Sunbeam Wizzmix (he spins the thing the bowls spin on, sometimes with the bowls on it), because if it breaks then I might be able to get a KitchenAid. He told me off, but he did smile too, so I think I am preparing the ground successfully.
DYING for our bond to get returned. How long does it take? What can I sell I wonder...
I don't have a significant birthday for aaaaages. Hmm. HMM. |

I got mine online from Kitchenware Direct. No hassles, great price, was quite quick to be delivered. I did look at my local House, but I found the lady serving me was a bit of dill and the price was higher than buying online even taking into account delivery fee.

ETA: Difference between the Artisan and the Deluxe?
| Larger motor, deluxe has a lift bowl mechanism, and has a larger bowl....the paint finishes on artisan are normally glossy, deluxe have normally been matt.

The bowl capacity is more on a K5 (deluxe) and you can get some paint finishes in shiny now in K5's. I know they do the empire red K5 and they had a limited edition Yellow which is shiny. They haven't done the sparkly finish (like the limited edition candy apple) on the K5's yet though I don't think.

We got the form for our bond yesterday, dh posted it today...the Apple Green keeps selling out of places. With a price drop in many places, are they popular enough to sell out quickly?
Yeah I saw a K5 majestic yellow which was very very pretty. Just lovely. Dh is adamant that I should get a green, which, given that it's one of my favourite colours, and my kitchen is green and white, makes perfect sense....

Pistacio green (which is actually a soft green, not bright like you would expect) is on my short-list of colours.
