Default a good baby monitor under $80?

Hi All,

Anyone have a really good baby monitor that is under $80 they would recommend? I need to return the one i borrowed so will need to purchase my own.

Nothing fancy as long as I can hear DD in another room clearly, don't need any fancy lights and magic shows.

I saw a safety 1st one at toys r us for $50 (save $50 apparently) anyone have one of these? and what did you think?

THANKS ALL!

I have the Fisher Price one from Target. Got it for about $50 on sale I think. Nice and clear, good volume range....I'm really happy with it.

We use the Tomy Baby Walkabout advanced. I'm not exactly sure how much it cost me - but I definitely know it was under $100 . I had purchased a different brand over $100, but in my house it picked up alot of static. This one is clear.
I think it's a good idea buying it from somewhere where you can exchange it easily if it doesn't suit. We bought our first one from Babies Galore, and had to get a credit for it rather than a refund.

Light and sounds maybe? It has the bit for the baby's room (well the middle of my hallway) which is round and flat with a light you can press on and off and an aerial and the little receiver like a walkie talkie. It's white. I know it does have a model with 2 receivers but I didn't need 2.
