Question Baby engaged?

I am 31 weeks pregnant and had a scare the another night at the hospital and when i was there the nurse said the babies head was 3/5 engaged... the nurse said that its nothing to worry about and doesnt mean she will come early...
I had a widwife app today and she said that she is abit further then 3/5 engaged and that she asumes she will be ready to come at about 36, 37 weeks..
It annoys me that 2 people who work at the same place can say different things.. does anyone know the right answer?

I would love for her to come sooner then later.. (aslong as she is healthy!)

I don't know how the midwife can predict when your baby will arrive?? As far as I know you can be engaged for some time. I know I was and baby came at 42 weeks. I wouldn't hang out for an early arrival. Relax and enjoy being pregnant!

My sister became engaged at 35 weeks and was told that baby might arrive at any time. He was born at 41 weeks. I don't think it means too much.

I was engaged with DD1 at 34 weeks, but she wasn't born til 41+1. 1st babies often engage early. Subsequent babies often don't engage til labour

My daughter was 3/5 engaged from 28 weeks and I had her at 40+2 they can't really say if it will mean you are going delivery early, everyone is different and bub may not even stay down there. My bub at 38 weeks was 5/5 engaged then at 39 weeks was back to 3/5.

In my experience when bub engages it doesn't at all determin when yu will have bub.
GL with it all

Babies can be engaged early (some as early as 26 weeks) and sit pretty for a LONG time and run past the due date and need inducing.

I wouldn't worry about it TBH just relax and enjoy what time you have left of your pregnancy. FWIW a pregnancy is considered Full Term from 37 weeks so if bub does happen to come around that time its no big deal.
