Thanks everyone for your kind wishes, still slight spotting but brown.. had an US yesterday just to help relax me...MS is slowly fading which is scary at 10 weeks last time that happened baby had died.
But there was my little bubs flapping arms and legs HB 170BPM and looking very good, gorgeous shape he/she is going to be a little cutie measuring ahead of date by nearly 1 week approx 11 weeks but supposed to be 10 weeks?? will see what OB says dates might get changed? So next scan is 12 weeks, I feel like this bub is supposed to be, is looking strong, healthy and ACTIVE.
Thanks again.

| | Some of you may know that after a rough start with spotting etc, we got a higher than normal neck measurement at NT scan, I went for a sneaky second scan a few days later to find with surprise that the neck measuremtn was a lot smaller??? Amnio was required to be on the safe side.
I have to say I don't recommended having a baby over 40 OMG the stress is enormous if things go the way they did for me . Unfortunately it is very common in my age group, so don't do it!!!! well at least not if you are stresshead (like me!!! )... I am so thankful that things are going to be okay, but am feeling a mix of emotions as well elation and then depressed, after the rollercoaster ride, very relieved, still a little nervous, they say 2 weeks after there is risk of MC so am taking it very easy...Dh has the rest of the week off work.
Those who are interested amnio was'nt bad first needle p***k was fine second into uterus was a bit more OUCHY but still fine all up a couple of minutes so more than bearable, had a strange sensation like someone was untwisting my belly button from inside, must be where the needle entered refered pain or something . FISH results were back less than 24 hours later, these are accurate for 4 abnormalities.... downs was my risk area, my other risks are the same as anyone else. At the 20 week scan they will look for a heart defect, if there is one which I doubt... it will be minor maybe a hole in the heart etc. Although they did heart scan the other day and everythign was doing the right thing, I really think the guy who did the first measuremnet got it a bit wrong and the measurements at my sneaky second scan where right.
Anyway off now... still resting with feet up as much as possible
