Girls, Enjoy your last "free" days!
Don't stress to much about labour and birth. Any pain or exhaustion is soon forgotten when you have that precious little bubba in your arms. Savour every moment, its a once in a lifetime event to which nothing compares!
Praying I get that far so I can go through it all again. I LOVED the whole birth process.

I am sooo petrified tonight. Have still been bleeding on and off for past 3 days. not really any worse (or better), just same old brown blood on and on!!
Now I am faced with my forst scan with FS tomorrow. I really don't want to go. I still have some hope atm but a bad scan could erase all that and shatter my dreams. I will only be 6w1d so also worried I might just not see HB cos its to early.
Mind you, if I DO see one then I will fel soooo much better. Ohhh just so stressful. Wish pg could just be happy and smooth like it is for the majority of the population.
Sorry for the whinge but I know you will all "get it".

MeredithD send you loads of good luck for your scan tomorrow.
Leyla yeah, I know, this is the exciting end of the pregnancy, I have to say that I am feeling VERY large and wouldn't mind going a couple of weeks early.

Sharon - I posted that at a low point last night, felt very overwhelmed but feeling a lot better today. Not far to go yourself!!

Leyla - no LV's yet please! I am still finishing off the tidying and organising at home before I go to Perth on Thursday. Don't really fancy sitting in a car for 2 hours whilst in labour! I know these feelings are normal, but yes, I just want everything to be okay too.

MeredithD - oh hun, that's exactly how I was at the start of this pregnancy. I didn't sleep a wink the night before my first scan at my FS's. Everything will be fine, your little bubba is snuggled in tight! Thinking of you tomorrow.

MistyFying - thankyou for your kind words.

Um, guess I better pack my hospital bag hey....!! It's on tomorrow's To Do List.

Sweet dreams all.

SG (and beautiful munchkin *Edward*)

Shoegal we all have our low points, pregnancy and childbirth are very overwhelming experiences, you will do an amazing job when the time comes (hopefully after you have everything organised and you are back from Perth

Sorry, this will be very quick as I have to go to work NOW.
Had scan this morning. Didn't see a HB...... saw TWO!!!
Yep, twins in there! One had fairly obvious HB. The other not very clear but FS was positive she saw a flutter. Said it was to early and her machine not good enough to see clearly but she was not worried. Prob ovulated 24hrs apart anyway so one would be a day behind
Going for a proper scan with Monash U/S next wed.
So I am scared and excited. Still tentative about whether both will stick but praying they will.
Then I'll have to consider my life with 3 children under 2yrs.....eeek!!!!

OMG Meredith!! That is such wonderful news! You must be spinning. I'm sure everything will work out from here on in. What a blessing!

Shoegal - best of luck with packing the bags. Arent you off to Perth tomorrow? Time is flying.

Sharon - I know the 'huge' feeling. Not helped at all by the heat... Not long to go now though.

Hammi - You will get there! I know what you mean though, the first half of this pg seemed to drag.

I had an OB appointment today and cam away really depressed. Bubs is still not engaged. It's head down, but still very mobile which I'm told is very unusual at this stage with a first time mum. I'm so petrified that he will not engage and I'll end up going two weeks over and then having to have a C-section! I have just been sitting here crying on the couch. I feel like such a failure. What is wrong with my body that he can't engage?

I've upped the RLT and have spent the last half hour bouncing on my yoga-ball. I just hope that he changes his mind and engages soon. I really want to have a normal vg birth. Anyhow... vent over. I know my problems could be a lot worse.

Belly rubs to everyone.

love

MeredithD - oh how wonderful!! You are doubly blessed, congratulations!

Leyla - Hun, babies may not engage until you go into labour, you still have plenty of time. Maybe also try going down on your hands and knees and rocking from side to side for 10 minutes every night. Are you doing squats? YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE! You have nurtured your precious baby for almost 9 months. Yes, you can help things along but sometimes things are out of our control. Cheer up sweetie. Going to Perth on Thursday. STILL haven't packed hospital bag, will do it tonight!

Hammi - you will get there! It will fly towards the end.

Me - Hmm, think I overdid it a bit yesterday. Not nearly as motivated and more than just a bit tired. Have at least 30 things to do before we leave on Thursday morning so need to get into it tout suite.

Thanks Shoegal... you are a sweetheart. Your kind words make me cry... I think the hormones are getting the best of me. I was bouncing on the ball again and got the giggles, which promptly turned into full-on bawling! How silly... lucky I was the only one around. Would have freaked out DH! I just don't want anything to go wrong this close to the end, and with a bub not engaged at this stage it increases the risk of cord accidents. Must try to be positive though!

Best of luck with the packing... makes it feel very real!

Hi everyone.

I am very pleased to say that I can now sometimes see my bump move when bubs moves. It's only happened twice when lying down but it's very exciting indeed. If anyone is looking for cheap maternity bras I got some at Big W for $14.95 - nice and comfy and they go up to 20DD - Hestia Sport Star Maternity. They are the only mat bra I've liked so I'm very happy to have found them again in my size.

Sharon - I actually want to make it to 40 weeks cos I'm due 3rd July therefore I will be $1000 richer in baby bonus if I manage to get there. I just don't think I will make it that far cos of my age. I hope I'm wrong.

Meredith - congrats on 2 heartbeats - what a shock - going in expecting to not see one and instead you see 2!!!!

Leyla - don't worry about a C section. My SIL just had one and she has found the recovery to be fine and was not at all disappointed about not giving birth naturally.

Sam - I told my boss early on because of having to take leave twice due to spotting. I had to explain myself as my colleague had just left and I didn't want it to look like I wasn't coping with the extra workload. I'm glad I told him as he's been so understanding, probably because he's a dad of 3 young kids so remembers what his wife was like mentally when she pregnant.

BBLbub is crying for mummy. I just wanted to pop in on some of the ladies who are due soon. If I don't get back all the best!!!!
