Default Tips for sinusitus?

Anyone got any tips for sinusitus?

I have been using Lemsip drinks, Vicks Vaporub, Vicks preparation in our humidifier and Fess Saline nasal spray throughout my cold but it is not helping with this . Unfortunately, it takes about 3 weeks to get in to my GP, so won't be able to ask for antibiotics at this stage. Can anyone please help?

WTH x

I have a lot of ear infections and occasionally some sinus problems. I use the Fess spray too but apart from that the only thing that helps is heat packs against my ear or face (depending on where the pain is). I can never get into my GP for three weeks either but she is usually happy to write a script from a phone call or I go to the bulk bill place down the road. I have an appointment with an ENT on Monday.

OH no, I've started to bleed! I'm not sure I would call it spotting but it's not quite a heavy flow either.

I was so pleased when I heard from my doctor today. She had been away caring for a family member. I asked them to put a note on my file that I was pregnant and when she saw it she rang me to see if there was any assistance I needed. I said I was concerned about how low my HCG level was as it suggested I was only 3 weeks when I thought I was about 5. She said she would organise another blood test for first thing Monday but now I think it might be to confirm a miscarriage.

Tonight I had a terrible pain in my back and then when I went to the loo there was quite a large spot of blood. I don't think this can be at all good. There doesn't seem much point in doing anything before Monday morning when I take the blood test. I just sent DH up to get a pregnancy test. I know that's a silly thing to do but I don't really know what else to do.

Sadly the cramps became worse and this morning it's turned into a very heavy flow. I can't imagine that the baby would still be there.

Sad to say baby is no longer. I rang my doctor this morning and she told me to go the the hospital as I am RH negative and therefore need to have a shot if I bleed while I am pregnant. I got there at 3 this afternoon and didn't get home until 11.00 at night because they were so busy. They did a blood test and confirmed that my HCG levels were almost 0. It was what I had feared from the beginning. It always seemed odd that all the pregnancy tests I did were so pale whereas with my other two pregnancies they got noticeably darker with every day.
