Thanks HannahD and pash for the welcomes.

Congrats greenslw on your engagement such exciting news.

I had a big cry this morning. I just have a really bad feeling so tomorrow can't come quick enough so I can find out what my levels are doing. I wish I didn't even know I was pregnant yet. It has being 48hrs since the first test its so tempting to go have it done now then I would have the results this afternoon but the Dr told me to wait 72hours which is this time tomorrow. I just wish it would hurry up.

Hi ladies

Finally a little chance to drop by here and say thank you to you all Little Emma is quite a night owl but well worth the lack of sleep.

Anyway as most of you know, I was booked in for an induction (for the second time LOL) last Thurs. On Tues night I had finally resigned myself to it because of there was no indication that labour was happening anytime soon. So I went to bed early that night and what do you know I was woken up an hour later at 11.30pm by a really strong contraction - enough to get me up out of bed. Went to the loo and I had a show - yippee no induction for me!! Anyway, little Emma was born 1 hour later soon after I got to the hospy. She is just wonderful, we are so happy our family is finally complete And DD1 is just in love with her!

Thanks so much for all the support over the last 9 months, I hope no one minds me lurking to see how you all get on. I can't wait to see more bubs arriving to the ladies in this thread - if I can make it through a pregnancy without turning into a total basket case, anyone can! Good luck and sticky vibes everyone!

hi all

i still have the brown discharge. waiting on my blood test results. should have them soon i hope. i can't comphrend that this could be happening to me again. my morning sickness has died off a bit. still have a headache so that is a positive. i know heaps of people get spotting and so on and go on to have healthy babies. having had a m/c is just scares that crap out of you. trying to stay calm and stay positive. we just had morning tea at work for a guy's bday and he announced his wife is 13 weeks pg so i ate 2 pieces of choc mud cake and now i feel sick. Oh well, gives me something else to think about!

Z star and Emmy: praying for some great news for you. I hope that all is ok for both of you.

Greenslw: Congratulations on the engagement. Very exciting time for you and DP.

Megsmum: Congratulations on the safe arrival of bub.

Erybery: I'm interested to know if your ob is treating your PCOS whilst you are pregnant. My ob said that it only really causes issues conceiving, although I have seen on other sites (the internet can be a dangerous thing) that other ladies with PCOS have progesterone tablets or creams and some even take metformin. I trust him, as he was the one I was seeing when I had my mc and delievered DS but I was just curious.

Meredith: Here's hoping that bub isn't as shy about making her appearance to the world as she is with the camera.

Hannah: Fetal movements are the best. I can't wait to feel mine this time around.

Hi to all the other ladies on this thread.

AFM: Have been struggling a little bit with ms this week. Very tough with a 2 1/2 year old that just wants to play at the park or climb all over mum. I haven't been vomiting much just feeling nauseous. I'm not complaining, I wouldn't dare. I was a little better yesterday, which worried me, but terrible again today so I'm relieved.

Emmy83 - I am so sorry this has happened. Big hugs I wish there was something I could say to make you feel better. xox

Josh's mum - My ob hasn't mentioned PCOS since I asked him if It was what caused my MC and he said it may have been my hormones related to this but we would never know. I was on clomid to conceive this bub and it worked first go. I wasn';t on any treatment for PCOS before as I only discovred I had it after coming off the pill (was on it to control endo). I know I wasn't given metformin because Im not actually insulin resistant. I have found that my hormones are at there best whilst Im pregnant as it has cleared my skin up and my hair growth (my mo) has slowed aswell! and I've only put on 9 kilos since being pregnant so PCOS hasn't affected me whilst pregnant.
However, I have heard of people taking progesterone pessaries with PCOS to help support the pregnancy hormones. I think different Doc's believe different things! I wish you all the best for a healthy pregnancy!

Emmy - I am truly sorry to read that things have not worked out and you are leaving us. I hope we see you back here very soon. Take care, hun

Zstar - my are for you. It is important that the colour is brown - that is what I had at 6.5 weeks with DD. BTW - I would have eaten two pieces of mudcake, too! with your BT result.

Greenslw - am I rude or what!? SORRY to have missed your engagement "announcement" - looks like 2009 is turning out to be a very special year for you

Babymiracles - good luck with the moving. Hope it is not too stressful for you and that you enjoy setting up the nursery

Megsmum - "mwah" for you and bubs

to everyone else

Emmy and SammyP - I am so very sorry to hear about your bad news It is just not fair is it? Please take care and try to stay positive - you will hold your baby not too far away. Makes you wonder why some of us have to face so many hurdles though

zstar - I had 2 lots of brown spotting this pg, one at 6.5 wks and another at about 8 weeks I think it was. Of course it freaked me out because my last m/c was discovered after a bit of brown spotting. But it does not necessarily mean the worst although I totally understand the worry. My m/s also came and went too. Hang in there and hope you get some good BT resullts.

Hi All,

I know I have been missing lately, been so busy finalising things at work and then coming home and sleeping.

Megsmum - congrats on baby Emma - just love that name.

Sorry to you ladies that are having a rough time.... when you have your baby all the pain will go away.

AFM - 1 day of work to go - woot, woot !!! So excited. I also have my baby shower Sunday and finally I am starting to prepare for the little one. So much to do though.

Doc has concerns cause the BP continues to increase so will focus on rest and more rest.

Just wanted to pop in and say hi to you all. Hopefully will have more time for persies when I have finished work.

Hugs

Sammy and Emmy I am so sorry to read of your loss - my thoughts are with you and I hope you are both as okay as you can be at this time

Greenslw - congrats on your engagement! Very exciting!

I'm sorry for no more personals, I'm really tired and forgetful tonight.

AFM, ticking along slowly, had our first OB appt this afternoon with our new OB and he seemed lovely, very reassuring and ticked all the boxes for us. Had a quick look at 'spud' too and heart is still beating and measuring correct for dates. I'm happy, but still not really excited yet. I'm in such a weird headspace it's hard to explain, I'm just hoping the fear of something going wrong starts to diminish when we get past 12 weeks.

Hope everyone is well
AFM - All is going along ok although typical for me, nothing is ever simple. We have attempted the 4d scan a record breaking 3 times with NO success. Not even one picture of our little princess. Face has been hidden every time by cord, feet, hands etc! Quite disapointed given this was my birthday pressie and supposedly meant to be something "nice" for this highly traumatic pg. Anyway, guess we just have a very stubborn baby. Coming from this scan however, some concern over my amniotic fluid level. The scan is totally NON medical but she did mention it and I hae enough knowledge to have noticed myself. OB is sending me for a proper scan next week to check everything. If bub an ok size then will probably just need monitoring so hoping this is the case. Otherwise she will still have to come out early. MOvements have been pretty good whichc is what I am supposed to be watching out for so not to worried at this stage.
Meredith - had not mean't to miss posting to you yesterday. I agree with what Pash said about the 4D scan saga possibly being a good birthday pressie afterall. Would love to call it divine intervention, but coincidence or not, your "stubborn" bubba has let you know about the low amniotic fluid levels. What a clever princess! I remember reading in the past that some women get fluid injections to keep things going in the last trimester, so certainly is something that can be helped GL with your scan

emmy83 - i am so sorry this is happening to you again. i can't imagine how you feel. it must be such a shock. you take care of yourself and hang in there. we can't give up. all this pain will be worth it when we are holding our little babies. be kind to yourself and i hope to see you back here very soon. you are in my thoughts and prayers.

human bean - good to hear all is going well with you. nice to get that first ob appointment out of the road. i to am hanging out for 12 weeks to take a bit of load off.

megsmum - thanks for your words. it sounds exactly like me. it has given me comfort. thanks.

afm - i'm doing ok. the news of sammy and emmy has upset me terribly. i am so sad for them. i just can't imagine it happening again. you have to stay strong and have to be brave in this game. my blood tests came back fine. my brown stuff has backed off. now its just speckled little dots when i wipe myself sometimes. i have a headache and ms has returned. not to its fullest but it is back. so, hopefully im in the clear for now. i don't have another scan until 12 weeks for the down syndrome testing. if i'm anxious i will ring ob and have one sooner. i just keep thinking of the day i will have my own baby to love and care for and days like this will be a distant memory.
