Thanks eceryone for the well wishes with Campbell. He seems to be on the mend but very slowly and I think his behaviour has benefited from the time at home with me. Can only wait and see how he is when we go back to playgroup in a week or so.
Well I finally have some answers re the abdominal pain. It is called rounded ligaments or something like that. I is to do with the ligaments that hold your uterus in place not stretching as well in a second preg. It could be made worse by the fact that Campbell was such a big baby. Anyway have been told not the excercise ( not that "I was anyway when it is painfully to even stand) use pain relief and heat packs and I have an appointment with a pregnancy physio on wed. I am a bit worried about our sports carnival next week as I can hardly walk at the moment and I will have to stand and walk all over the oval all day. all I did today was take Campbell to a chiro appointment and go to the shop. What will I be like after a day on the oval. Oh well one dat at a time. Will try and do persies later in the weekend. Bye for now.

ah the dreaded indigestion is here with a vengeance tonight after a good old fry up of home made samosas and yummy thai pumpkin soup. Been up since 3am drinking milk and scoffing quick eze
I remembered something about my glucose test Miss Maggie, I went majorly hyper afterwards which was quite surprising as I'm a sweet tooth and didn't put two and two together until I realised I was buzzing and shaking a few hours after the test and I'd talked two legs off the kitchen table! It was a bit funny, but I figured I had an empty stomach and eating helped bring me down from the ceiling. the last time I got so high on a non alcoholic drink was in Cape Town, I got fully drunk on a coffee in public, soooooo embarrassment for DH! I'm strange though, I can drink spirits and liqueurs all night but can't touch a drop of wine or my legs go numb with one sip. Not cool.
Okay, this is a forgivable 4 in the morning ramble...

Hi everyone
After 10 ivf cycles and 13 embryos transferred I can't believe I've finally made it to this forum. Can anyone recommend a melbourne obstetrician who can deal with a completely high maintenance neurotic patient?

Hope you're all good. Been lurking a bit but haven't really had much to say.
Won't really attempt persies, too many and I still have the memory span of a goldfish LOL.
Would like to give a huuuuge to all the potential mamas in the next few days. Hope it's all smooth sailing for you... well as much as labour and birth can be!
Murph: I get what you mean about the size, although I am opposite. I am only 8 weeks and already "popping" and of a night time I look like I'm about 6 months already! Went out last wknd and was alittle worried cause my dress was a tight around the middle. Concerned I asked DH if I looked preggers or just fat and got a cheerful "Nah it's ok honey, you just look fat!" Well thank you sooooooo much darling! You always know how to make me feel good! I'm dreading in the next few months when people start asking how far along I am and I say "5 months" etc and thay look shocked and say "How many are you having?"
Nothing much happening here. Still very mild MS but it's totally random. Some days I have nausea some I don't, last week have just totally not been into eating dinner, settled for a bowl of cereal instead. Really nothing much else to tell.
Keep up the good posting, you all keep me entertained every day! I am thinking of you all, and hoping you're all feeling good |

Welcome Bridget!!!!!!!!!!! Sending you lots of love and sticky vibes. Grub is right, ratbag that she is, that this forum is super supportive.
sorry for the mixup earlier *blush*. preg brain??? is that enough of an excuse.
Mels, kelly and MHB - GOOD LUCK!!! and can't wait to hear from you. Wishing you beautiful experiences and lots of lovely mummy hormones.
afm, well, still here in hospy. i'm getting used to it. I stopped nifedipine last night because i was getting really itchy as a side-effect. But now contracs have all started up again. Stupid uterus. So it's back on I go!
Nervously waiting next growth scan to see what's up with our little one. Hopefully he has caught up to his brother a bit, and hopefully he hasn't continued to tail off the chart. He's at the 5th percentile and lower at the moment, so we're just trying to work out what's going on.
Happy weekend everyone, and you soon-to-be-mummies, I hope you're cherishing this weekend!!
Jenxx

Just realised I missed a whole page of posts! Oops! Bridget! Wishing you a happy, healthy & complication-free 9 months!
Murph: I'm with you on the glucose. I had to have 2 lots done pre IVF (they stuffed up the first one and "forgot" to record my insulin levels! How, I don't know ) But I had the opposite effect, I went all dizzy and light headed and almost fainted in the chemist afterwards, and was promptly escorted up to the food court for some lunch!
Oh and good news, (sorry if ) but the attempt went all well! Extra good even
Ok well over & out again, off to get a few before we go out tonight. Off to see an oldie but a goodie at our local pub, Mental as Anything are playing!
