Hi Girls, thought it was time I popped in and posted.
Bella, congrats on your blue bundles! It's such a relief when we are told everything is going well. You'll be glad when you finish your night shifts. 24 weeks will be here before you know it.
Smithy, rubella - german measles - can be dangerous to unborn babies and it's probably worth talking to your GP or Ob about the test results. You have got some immunity, better than none, but it would be worth talking to someone to put your mind at ease or give you strategies to avoid being exposed to the virus. Hope your MS disappears soon..
Azzrenae, gotta love escaping to warmer weather! Hope your trip to Darwin is relaxing. I know where you're coming from having to hold all that liquid for an hour and a half... I'd have no chance!
Mels, we're on the home stretch now. Glad to hear all is going well for you and your little boy is kicking up a storm.
Greenslw, I have had a few really weird dreams, none recently but more so earlier on. Ones where you'd wake up and wonder where on earth that all came from! Enjoy your 2 weeks off.
Jen, I enjoyed reading about your twin movements.. ours are similar where one is really active and the other seems more placid. It makes you wonder if that's going to be their temperament once they're actually here.
Murph, get well soon!
Saph, numbers are looking good. this is the one for you and your scan confirms everything is all ok.
Grub, Yay for shopping! It's an exciting time. Pink or blue finishing touches, your nursery will be such a special place. Enjoy the rest of your holidays!
Miss M, good to see your spotting has stopped. You must be exhausted - I can only imagine how big a job moving house when pregnant must be.
Neptune, I have a body pillow and use it every now and again. I found it wonderful during my pregnancy with DD but have found it too bulky this time round - maybe that's just because I'm so much bigger already! It takes up a fair bit of space in the bed, especially if you discard it half way through the night and don't kick it out of the bed! It's a cheap option for trying to get comfortable.
BDT, congratulations and welcome. Best wishes for your next scan.
Hi FG, Janie and anyone else I have missed.
AFM, growth scan on Wednesday shows both twins are growing well, weighing just under 2kgs each. 6 weeks to go today until they induce us, unless these little ones make an early appearance.. fingers (and legs) crossed that they stay put!
Have a great weekend all!

All the best everyone...see you soon?

Thanks Sara and Possums for checking up on me. Actually starting to get a little excited today but really wish I could sleep the next few weeks away. Well scan is booked for the 8th of July and my first OB appointment the week after. When I rang to book in They first told me they were booked out for february. I asked to lady how early you had to get in before conception as I am only six weeks. Anyway they found space for us. I am pleased with the costings as this doctor is cheaper than when I had DS and that was 3 years ago. Was even looking a pram on the internet today trying to figure out what I want. ARGHHH am I nuts or what.
Smithy hope you are ok. With DS I had a wonderful relationship with the toilet bowl so far so good. I found that a blackmores morning sickness vitamin helped a little, but then I only found it when I was 6 months so it may have started easing of on its own by then anyway.

Lydia omg that sounds horrible hope you are ok. Here is the mother in me you should not be sleeping on your back, I know it is hard but sleeping on your left side is the best helps all your organs work. Try tucking a pillow behind you so you cant roll on your back and you should have a pillow between your knees, helps to take the pressure of you back and tummy. Saying this i sleep on my tummy and will do so until I physically cant anymore. hoping everyone is doing well.
AFM levels are starting to look somewhat pleasing I think HCG 2634 P 100. 6 weeks down 34 to go.

| | Azzrenae Oh it was indoor and heated. Not that brave.... for scan, enjoy Darwin and I think a Saronge is the only way to go, if you use two you can cover most of you enjoy your warm escape. Smithy, I have NO immunity after being imunised 3 times, for me it means keeping aware of sick people. Bella CONGRATULATIONS Kaydee Your bubs sound nice a big already, I hope they stay put too. MHB good to hear no diabeties and BP normal, you must be RELAXING, still want to know how to do that. OMG what a scary night you must have had. Glad you're ok. Saph, I felt the same but it's nice to see things moving
AHHHHH who would be a step parent my SS gota love him spent the whole weekend playing on his computer "no homework" then this morning only by accident did I read his major project was due (draft) Wednesday THIS WEEK! little poop threw a note at me at 7.50 "you must sign this" it was his subject selection which had been "forgotten" for two weeks So I took the little buggas pc cord to work and when I got home found him sulking on the sofa. Only to find out that most of the draft can be done BY HAND!
So today I've driven from one side of town to the other (200+kms) had a wax, solved several issues at work cooked tea and not lost my cool yet. |

Hi ladies,
It's been awhile since I've been in and I'm trying to catch up with everyone, so I guess a big hi and hope you well for all!
Special mention to BDT, congratulations you must be so excited, I remember you from when I first joined BB and your were such a tower of strength for everyone after all you'd been thru. Congrats again and I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.
AFM I'm coming up to having my 12 week scan next thursaday and I'm nervous as he'll that something is going to be wrong. DH isn't worried at all, so I guess I'm doing the worrying for both of us...
I'll be back in a week or 2 to see how everyone is. Good luck and take care, xx.
