Hi again - Greenslw, thanks for asking of me, especially when you're feeling down yourself, hope you've got a smile back on - i'm doing well! My bleeding stopped yesterday afternoon. Sorry for tmi, but i passed a small clot, then after that, there hasn't been anymore bleeding, thank goodness! And, as you said, my numbers were nice and high, so this is why my FS was not too concerned I'm officially 5 weeks today! And it still sounds so surreal to be saying that!!

Best wishes to all

Default Thanks girls.

Thank you so much for all your welcoming messages. I havn't been back online since my origional post as i have been really, really ill. The bub seems to be going really well. Had scan at 8weeks, 3 days. Just the one bub inside. Was certain that it was going to be two with all of the sickness i've been experiencing, terrible vomiting all day. Ulcers in my mouth and down the back of my throat, blood noses. It's painful and nearly unbearable.
I swore that i would be grateful no matter what happened to me. but it's becoming difficult. Anyone had any experience with 'all day sickness'? Any suggestions?
How long did it last for you? I can't wait to feel a little relief.
Anyway, sorry to complain. Hope your all keeping well. xoxoxo
Oh yeah, my due date id 21/02/10 xo

Kahlan, Congratulatulations on the birth of Lyla. All the best!

Smithy, congrats on making it to double digits! Hope your MS has eased and you're feeling better.

Theresep, glad your bleeding has stopped. Hope you can relax a little now. Your numbers sound good.

Wavegirl, you poor thing. Maybe try small dry snacks and some MS ginger tablets from the chemist. Have heard a dry Premium biscuit and a piece of green apple before getting out of bed helps... I've had lots of bleeding noses with this PG. Just about everyday. Checked with ob and he says that's normal for some women.

Greenslw, glad you're feeling a little better today. I think we all have days when it all seems a bit too much. Take care hun.

Hi to everyone else. Hope you have a lovely weekend.

Hi Kaydee how's week 35 treating you?

Wavegirl, oh my that sounds like full on to me. I haven't had anything like that but major pimples and ingrown hairs. Have you asked a doctor if you can take anything? Vit B is sposed to help ulsors.

Theresep, glad to hear. Bleeding is scary at any stage but when it stops it's a real relief, hope you're taking it easy too.

MissMagpie, That makes me so angre for all of you esp the child 15 years imagine all that your DP and child have missed, Grrrr some women are a bit selfish or maybe a bit head in the sand anyways what a bomb shell for you all. I earn more than my DP and we have had the conversation, I think a mix of both is best me part time DP part time and nanna 1 day. But if push comes to shove DP will have to stay home. Hard for me but better than child care. Not under a year for me.

congratulations Kahlan and welcome Lyla (lovely name)

Grub thanks for sharing all that moving sounds exciting but isolating at the same time. Darwin is lovely though (dream location for me) NO MORE WINTER!!

ATM home alone DP is away at his hous Step Son is at his mums, just came back from my mums and junk food hehehe. she couldn't keep it in anymore, she told her friends she's going to be a nanna again. I was glad. I was thinking it's time for mum to be able to tell the world.

Spoke to my boss today back from Greese OMG her daughter got married with 350 guests! poor girl how scarry is that. But that means only a few more sleeps till I can let the cat out of the bag myself. Oh I can't wait. Little nervous but in the end it will be good to make it all real.

Have a great weekend all.

Hi Greenslw, 35 weeks is very exciting!! I'm so desperate to make it to 38 weeks (considered full term for twins).. I just hope these little ones hold out for a bit longer. I have good days when I can be on the go for a lot longer than other days. Just get tired and a bit achy if I over do it. Nana naps have made a come back... our DD has been awesome letting me rest when I need to. She covers me over with a blanket and asks me if I need a back rub (so sweet!). Thanks for asking how I'm going.. Hope you enjoy your day - sounds like an empty house is a good chance to curl up with a good book or DVD. GL telling your boss.. I'm sure she'll be thrilled for you when she's sees how excited you are with your news.

Thanks for the words of encouragement Kaydee. I think you're right just being as excited as I am will make anybody happy for me. Especially when I say I will be back to work in 12 weeks, which is really what any boss wants to hear (just will leave off the part time bit) hehehe. Wow 38 weeks isn't that far and DD sounds like a jem. Hopefully as helpful when bubble and Squeak come alonge. Do you know pink blue?

Greenslw, part time is a great way to balance work/home. I returned to work after DD and have been part time up until I went on leave again for these little ones and it really is the best of both worlds... as long as you're happy with whoever will look after the little one.

We didn't find out pink or blue... If the old wives tale of how you carry tells anything though, I'm thinking blue. My bump is very compact and all out the front - it gets the gawkers when you're out and about because from the back I don't look PG. With DD, I was much wider. Time will tell soon enough! We've got our 8 names (4 first names, 4 middle names) ready to go whatever the outcome.

Kaydee that is fantastic to reach 35 wks im so happy for you I am hunging for 25 wks at the moment only 3 wks to go. I reacon its a boys year this year as most of us are having boys. DD is so cute looking after her mummy how do you think she will go with the twins?
Can you tell me what your fundus is measuring at? Mine is measuring at 30 wks and im only 22wks that is freaking me out a little. Im also finding at hard to get cumphy. I honestly don't know how you could move at 38wks I hope your last few wks go quickly an smoothly for you.

Congrats Kahlan Lyla is a beautiful name I hope your stiches get better I to teared a bit with my DD it didn't bother me when I was in hospital but when I got home it was terrible I tried everything even a salt bath which helped alot. I hope the breastfeeding gets better I know it can be a hard and stressful time I found the CHY nurses very helpful but in the end I had to go to bottle feeding which didn't bother me just as long as DD was putting on weight I was happy.

Greenslw and Missmagpie that terrible word finances if you have to go back to work early be it f/t or p/t then you have to do it don't feel guilty about it. Wouldn't it be lovely if all work places had childcare you can poppin when ever you want to. I have chosen to stay at home which means we have to stick to a budget but if we couldn't afford it then I would of gone back to work.

Missmagpie what a terrible thing to go through with DP after 15 years I can't imagine what that would feel like. I hope you are looking after yourself.

Wavegirl sorry to hear about you MS I hope the other girls have some remedies for you fingers crossed there is light at the end of the tunnel and you can start enjoying your pregnancy.

Theresep I to had some bleeding at 5 weeks but it went away after a couple of days the nurses told me it must of been old blood but I was stressing out the whole time then I saw 2 little heads and heart beats at my 8 wks scan and the stress went and was taken over by shock can't wait to hear about your 8 wks scan I know it must seem so far away for you but if you wanted you can ask for an earlier scan.

AFM had another scan last week and the boys look good so far but still worried about the fluid levels so more weekly scans for me. I also went to red cross last week to get some prices on hiring 2 capsule and it was $80 for deposit and $130 for 6 month hire but they had some ex rentals they were selling for $60 each so we bought them, Its the first thing we have brought for the twins so very excited. Red cross have to sell them when they reach their 9 year mark as the life span of capsules are 10 years ours runs out in 2011 they sold them to us earlier then normal. Also a friend has a near new cot they don't need any more so are giving it to us. So now I am on the look out for a double pram and 1 more rocker. So much for waiting til I was 25 wks

Hope everyone is having a good weekend
