Hello everyone, thank you for your kind words of support. I am feeling much better today. I have my 19 week scan tomorrow, so looking forward to seeing my lovely one and hoping that everything is looking really good.
Beata, bummer about the m/s coming back. I hope it goes away just as fast. As you said, I'm sure its due to a big growth spurt, which is a good thing
Teagz, I hope your DH gets better soon and I hope he doesn't pass it onto you.
Hi Nae Nae, so nice to hear from you. Thank you for your thoughtful words. It is wonderful to be on this side and I do hold onto hope that I will hold my little sweetie-pie soon! Gosh, you are getting so close to the end now, you'll have your little bundle in no time. I am so happy for you and pray for a safe labour & delivery. Take care of yourself
Hi to everyone else.

Hello,
Quick post to say that my 19-week scan went really well, all very normal and nothing to worry about, so quite happy & relived about that. Starting to get quite excited about my little bundle. Have started looking for baby furniture etc, made up a list of things we'll need & costs, and couldn't believe how expensive it is.
Hi Ellie, I don't think I have met you before. Congratulations on your pg & I wish you a happy & healthy 9-months. Great news about seeing the HB recently, every milestone is such a big deal and a great relief as you get through them. All the very best.
Hope you are all well. x

Hello ladies
Just wanted to pop in and say hello, introduce myself. I'm what you might call skeptically pregnant! I've had some late term miscarriages and have just discovered I'm about 6 weeks preg with a new one. This time I won't be telling anyone until I'm so pregnant I can't fit through the damn door, and although my obstetrician is confident that this one will be ok, I'm not letting myself get attached.
After the last m/c they did a raft of blood tests, must have had about 20 or even 25 vials of blood taken. Nothing, except for some clotting factors. This time I have to take heparin, so have been injecting Clexane daily (black and blue tummy, but I'm told this is normal). Also taking aspirin and folate of course.
Every little twinge, every little funny feeling is a source of anxiety. I wish there were a way that I could enjoy this time but I don't think it'll happen that way. Has anyone else had a series of late losses and then been successful? And - does anyone know how to stop the Clexane making bruises?
Best of luck to you all.

Hi Ladies,
Megan, so happy your scan went well hun! It's so good to breathe out a sigh of relief when everything is going to plan isn't it? Big hugs honey
Hopefulone, welcome to our little corner and I'm so sorry to hear of your late losses. This is why we are here, the anxiety never really goes away, does it? I wish you all the very best in your pg, but I can understand your anxiety too, so don't think you're alone! I'm sorry I don't have any experience with heparin or clexane, I hope someone will give you some advice.
Ellie, I get crampy sometimes too, but I think it's just ligaments stretching so thinking this way makes me feel better ...
Hello Teagz, Laney, Diana, Bec and anyone else I missed! I hope you're all well and big to all

Hi Ladies,
Hopefulone- I just wanted to let you know that I was on heparin injections and low dose aspirin through my last pregnancy and I have a healthy baby boy! I also know one other woman from belly that used heparin after 2 late losses and she is due in 2 weeks!
I had 2 late losses at 22 and 28 weeks. My babies were not growing well in the second trimester due to some sort of issue with the blood flow through the placenta. I had a million blood tests done and nothing. I demanded heparin and it worked beautifully. My son was born an average healthy weight. The injections are not fun but I would do it again.
There really isn't much you can do to stop the bruising. When my belly got really big and the skin was tight the bruising was a lot better. Try to inject at a slight angle, don't pull the needle out right after you are done injecting (hold it in place for a few seconds), put a little pressure on the injection site for a minute after you are done, and rotate injection sites (if you inject in the same place too often the bruising can get bad). It takes a little time to get into a good routine that works for you.
I know it is very difficult to stay positive but I hope my success gives you some comfort. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Caitlin

Morning Girlies,
Laney, it's good to hear from you!
Berry, fantastic about the scan! So glad everything went well, I knew it would I'm glad that you're able to start getting exciting and relaxing (a tiny bit at least!) about your pregnancy. Definately try to enjoy it as much as possible, it goes so fast!
Beata, look at you crank along!
Hopefulone, welcome to our little hidy hole I don't know anything about herapin etc, but I do understand the anxiety of every little twinge and cramp that you get during pregnancy. I really this one is a sticky one for you, and you'll have me cheering you on from the sidelines
AFM, Only 6 weeks til maternity leave, 11 weeks til I get to snuggle my bundle (:. Our cot set &change table/chest of draws comes in next week I'm finding with each piece of "big" furniture we buy I start having horrible dreams about this baby dying as well. I wake up with that feeling I had when I was sent home with Jayvan still in my belly, sleeping, to wait and be induced the next morning. (unfortunately I'm sure you're all familar with that feeling) Bub must know, because he's been very reassuring today, lots of kicks in the ribs and hiccups to keep me sane, bless his little cotton socks to anyone I have missed. xx

Hello ladies,
Teagz, what happened to your gorgeous belly pic! It was so cute! Mine is getting big too, I really popped out in the last 2 weeks. Wow, 6 weeks until maternity leave! Wow, I bet you can't wait hun. I'm leaving at the end of Dec. I'll have all Jan & Feb all to myself to set everything up
Aboutht the bad dreams, I have thoughts like that all the time! I am so paranoid sometimes....I would feel much better if I was feeling the big kicks, but at the moment I'm just feeling the popping feelings, when did you start to feel the big movements/kicks?
Megan, how are you lovely? I hope everything is well with you. I have my 19 week scan on 4/11 next week, I can't wait!
Diana, if you're lurking, helloooooooooo! Give Fabian a big big hug from aunty B
Hi Ellie, Laney, hopefulone, Bec & Nae, hope you're all well

Just counting down to the 12 week scan on the 11/11 at 11 am....got to be a good sign! Still sick...on the zofran during the day and phenegran at night but without them I've got my head in the bucket all day long.
Hope everyone's doing ok

Hi ladies,
Teagz, I had goose bumps looking at all your wedding photos! They are absolutely, amazingly beautiful, and you looked just stunning babe, I had a little tear in my eye!
The photographer did an amazing job, if they were in Melbourne I would definitely hire them! I love the way the photos are so natural, and so detailed at the same time. Just gorgeous hun. And I love your belly in your dress (which by the way is just stunning!).
I wasn't going to have a professional photographer, but I will now looking at your pics
Ellie, GL with your scan hun, I'm sure all will be well. I hope you're feeling better soon too, my m/s went away around 15 weeks....
Hi Jo! So nice of you to pop in hun! And look at little Kaitlyn, she is just precious! I hope all is well at your end, big hugs hunni x

Teagz, your wedding pictures are so beautiful. I really like the one where you are sitting holding your belly.
Ellie, How exciting! 12 week scan already! It really is great that you are feeling so sick, even if you don't think so. I know what you mean about missing the belly and the movements inside. I was so sad to not be pregnant anymore and happy to finally be holding Grayson in my arms.
Jo, it is so nice to hear from you. Kaitlyn is so cute!

I have seen a lot of professional wedding picks but yours are the nicest ones. I also like the one of you holding your belly, it's so gorgeous!
