Still here, still struggling... had more piled on this morning (for those who are platinum members, it's all the platinum section and I'd rather it didn't go any further) and I just don't feel like I'm coping that well. Could this possibly be PND setting in?

Don't have too long to post as much as I want, because I mostly can't get my thoughts in order to post coherently.

Michelle, I would love to visit again or have you over. I'm just nervous about having older kids in the house as we're not fully unpacked yet and far from child-proof, however it may help us see what needs to be done before Sam gets mobile! Where abouts out this way do you buy meat? Would love to know of a cheaper place to get it...

In some slightly better news - I dropped my prednisone dosage this morning (due to only having one tablet in the house when I've been on two, didn't get more until this afternoon) and so far so good, so I'm going to see how we go... The new drugs still knock me around a lot, but they do seem to be working.

Hopefully I'll get time to post properly tomorrow.

BW - Please seek some help if you even only think that PND maybe affecting you. I have friend who ignored her PND for over a year and now she is at breaking point. She can't even get out of the car most days to face her long term friends at her daughters school and her DH is helpless. She is on the verge of leaving her job and can't stop crying. She believes that if she had have dealt with things earlier than her PND would not have gone this far.

This may get me a lecture for self-medicating... I've increased the dosage of my anxiety/depression meds. I've been on 25mg for ages, even though I'm supposed to be taking 50mg. When Sam was needing feeds over night I just couldn't get up to him on the higher dose. With Sam sleeping through and me feeling all - I'm not even sure what to call it - it's probably worthwhile increasing the dosage... will see how I am in a few days.

BW - I am the last person to chastise for self medicating but it sounds like a good plan in the current climate.

The butcher is in the little shopping centre in Wilberforce. They *grow* their own meat and it is cheaper than what I have been buying and much better quality too. But if you need me - just call You can come to me anytime but I can also get to you. Toddler and all

BW - you're not self medicating, you're merely taking the dose that was prescribed

Michelle - how on earth did you hear about a butcher at Wilberforce??!! I think that might be the one a friend of mine has been telling me about for months, yet to get there though

Willow - You seem more organised than I do re baby equipement etc.

Hello Everyone,

I had my mid apt yesterday and thankfully I don't have GD. Bub is head down and lying on my right side. I have had some horrible back pain in the last day or so but that goes with the territory. It is time to write my birth plan. I have never written one before but I definately have a few things I'd like to put down this time.

I posted a question regarding maternity bras, but I have had a good response. Except for BW - thank you!! What maternity bras does everyone like or recommend. I am smaller busted but I need some support.

We are having name dilemas again. Mostly pronunciation. I say Eeva he said Ever!!! No big deal really I just want one pronunciation.

My girls seem to be over the chesty cold but I am on antibiotics for an upper respitory track infection. I feel a bit better but not 100%

My friend had her little boy on the 5th at 32 weeks. She had pre-esclamsia and her liver was failing so baby Jamie needed to be born. As of yesterday both mum and bub were doing ok.

Question: Do you think I need a double stroller? I don't shop a lot with my kids and I will be doing all grocery shopping on the days that the older girls are in daycare. Bub will be in a sling for short trips to the shops etc. Loren never sleeps in the stroller but I still use it once or twice a week.

Bek - I got a double because DS isn't in care and not planning to put him in any time soon, so I'll have both with me a lot. I didn't get one for DD/DS and I lived to regret it a few times. L doesn't sleep in his pram either anymore, hasn't for a long time, but I still wanted that option so i just brought a cheaper double from target. He's a very active little boy and the idea of chasing him around a shopping centre with the baby in a pram did not appeal!

I'm also on ABs at the moment. Finally went and got that thing on my head cut out on Tuesday. Dr pretty sure it was infected so on a short course of ABs just in case. Don't like taking them when prg (or at all really, gotta go get some sort of probiotic actually) but don't want a nasty infection either. Can't wash my hair till tomorrow though cause they put this spray stuff over the top of it, it's killing me!

Glad to hear you don't have GD! I did my test on Saturday, so I figure if I haven't heard from my ob by tomorrow it must all be good

Bras - to be honest, I'm yet to find one I'm really happy with. I have some from Target and 2 Loveables. I am big breasted (DD at the best of times) and am yet to find one that's supportive enough. I find most of them are OK initially but then over time they become less and less supportive.

Well, we had another unexpected trip to the Children's Hospital yesterday...the dear lad finally did some damage to his cast...pretty impressive, took him nearly 2 weeks this time Was just going to leave it but called the ortho clinic and they told me it needed to be seen and fixed so gave him some lunch, had a sleep and we went down yesterday afternoon. Had to present to the ED again because the ortho clinic is only open for appts on Mondays. So expected a long wait but once again, was pleasantly surprised. The triage nurse called his ortho when we got there and he came straight down to see him and we were on our way home 30 mins later. Thankfully we didn't need to take the cast off, he just reinforced it under the foot where it had gone all soft. So now he looks like one foot is 6 times bigger than the other but hopefully this will do the trick until the 18th when it comes off.

Going to visit a friend who has a 2 week old bub this afternoon - scary! LOL.

Anyway, best be off, going to go and vacuum the baby's room, there's stuff all over the carpet after the w'robe going in yesterday. Might move all the nappies and bits and pieces I've got put away in my room in there too. If I can bring myself to...man, I really thought I'd be better setting stuff up this time but I'm just not

BW I'm sending you some hun. I would go see your GP if you aren't feeling better in a few days

Bek on not having GD. Also on the maternity bra thing I also love the Target ones. They are just the plain kinda padded a little bit ones and they look more like a T-Shirt bra iykwim. I also like the Bonds Bumps mat bras and also the singlets.

Willow I wish I could come down and help you put Boo's nappies and little things in the new wardrobe. I was also very paranoid putting Sage's things in before he was born so much so that MIL came here and did what was left when I was in hospital

As for us..I'm feeling a bit down atm. I rang up and put Sage's name down for Preschool in 2011 I just cannot believe that I've done this already...It seems like ages away but in reality its only 17 months away Where has my tiny little baby gone. It just seems a little sad to think he'll be 3 by then. Oh I'm sorry for my little downer. I think alot of things is getting to me this week for some reason.
On top of that DH is going away this weekend with his dad so it'll just be Sage & I which I'm so thankful to have him with me. I just was hoping that we do something as a family of 3 for Mothers Day this year as last year it sucked cos Sage was sooooooo sick with the Chicken Pox but still very grateful to finally be a Mum.
Sorry for the rant but I just needed to get this out.

I have been here - but lots have sick and injured kids.
DS has influenza A - jokingly referred to by his very dark humoured mother as pig virus boy! NO ITS NOT SWINE FLU JUST JOKING!!!!!!
DD6 has fractured her left wrist...
Imogen has a chest infection and Monday I go in to hospital. I have been busy cooking meals and baking for the past couple of days. In between calls for back rubs, more water, panadol, tlc etc etc!
