Oh wow!!!!!!!! I've just spoken to our niece, the one who told me this week she's pg...............I've been trying to call her the last few days to see how she went on Wednesday, she was going to the GP, and hopefully having a scan to see how far along she is, she thought about 7 weeks. She's been a bit busy trying to get her head around things........as she's actually 14.5 weeks pg . Far out! I did think when I saw her on the weekend that she had a bit of a pot . She's excited, but it's a bit to get used to. They have a few things to sort out before then. And she's worried because she's had a few big weekends, and hasn't been taking pg vitamins etc. All looked okay on the scan though. I explained to her why I might have seemed not as excited as normal when we spoke the other night. She said that she definitely thought I sounded flat, and was a bit confused as to why I wasn't jumping for joy for her. So I'm glad I explained myself, thanks girls . So it turns out she didn't m/c at all, she's been pg the whole time!!!!!! Wow, another baby, in June/July!
Very quiet in here the last few days.........I hope you're all okay, I know there's a few lovelies having issues ATM. Here for you all

Hey Ladies,
I'm here & just quietly checking, it's been very, very hot in Perth & so I haven't been upstairs during the day because it's like a sauna up here. I am having major sleep issues so my thoughts are with the babies that are having a hard time as well! I just CAN"T get myself to sleep for some stupid reason. I am still lying there at 3am. It's driving me nuts. My eyes are actually stinging from being so tired.
I had my niece over last night & then tonight we are having dinner & a swim at my parents place so she is staying with us all day. Its' great for my kids to have someone else here to add to the dynamics of my girls & to put a diff spin on the toys & stuff KWIM? Like new games that they make up to play, etc... but it's awfully tiring! Jess is very 'special' right not in the behaviour category & any little thing sends her off into a big crying fit & it's driving me absolutely freaking nuts!
On a more exciting note, I got Claudy a new stroller at Baby on a Budget yesterday. They had a sale & I got a nice stroller that lays back. She thinks she is pretty cool in it. I have washed up my Valco & put all the newborn inserts back in & put the toy bar back on & it's such a shame, because it's a really lovely pram. I am planning on selling it. It's sad to think that no more new little bubba's of fine are going to lie in there. I have taken pictures of it, but just have to get the courage to advertise it. I will be sad when it goes, it's such an awesome pram. Ho hum......

Willow: Love the new ticker hun. Don't worry about work. I've been made redundant before and in retrospect it's the best thing that ever happened to me. It meant a new begining and now I'm earning about 3 times as much. I have briefed Freehills in Syndey plenty of times so if you get in with the Industrial Law team let me know because I'll put in a good word for you.
Mako: whoo hoo for sage, what a clever little boy. You must be very proud.
Deb: Enjoy the camping. Hopefully that means that you are all better.
Jayne: matie. It must be hard knowing that you won't be having anymore newborns but exciting also to share the next stage in your little girls life.
Janie: Throwing another hug at you hun How amazin that your niece is 14.5 weeks. I am glad that her scan seems to indicate bub is ok.
BW: I hope that Samuel is having a good day. It is so hard in the early weeks figuring out what works. It does get easier I promise.
Michelle: Hope you and the family are well. I've been thinking about you and I hope that your feeding issues are getting easier.
Well I've just been at my neighbours for late New Year drinks. They are in their 70's but can drink me under the table. 4 bottles between 3 of us and I"m feeling rather tipsy. I've spent over 4 hours in the garden today so the dehydration can't be helping ( lol). Less than 3 weeks till DH is home (thank God)
Hopy y'all are well
Lv Spring.

FC - Enjoy camping.
Janie - Wow Amazing that your niece is still pregnant. You sound happier, I know your time will come sooner rather that later hon. I prefer to find out the sex because I'd rather DH have his moment and get over it before bub is born.
Mako - Yey for Sage

Hi girls. Just a quick one from here. Feeding is getting better - left boobie is fine, right is still an issue. Seeing the MCHN on Monday so hoping Lily is gaining weight otherwise the confidence will take a battering. She is weeing and pooing but a random weigh I did shows she is heavier than birth weight but not at the *recommended* weight gain level. She is not as scrawny as Oscar was (he was really a failure to thrive for a while due to all of our feeding problems) but I also think I have lean babies who don't get huge quickly
Anyway, typing one handed so I will try to get back on later. Doing a solo day while DH is at All Tomorrow's Parties - I am soooooooo jealous!!!

Bekz I understand how you are feeling as far as finding out the gender of this bubby. My DH was adamant that he wanted a boy and he made me feel so down about things in the 1st 20 weeks of my pregnancy that we found out what we were having so he could have time to prepare himself b4 bub arrived, but when we found out Sage was a boy he shed some tears in the Dr's office because he wasn't getting his little princess I could have thumped him sooooooooo hard for the negative comments he'd made earlier even if he was mucking around. I kept on telling him the it was HIM that decides the gender of bubs and not me I just didn't want him to be dissapointed at or just after the birth and then me having to cope with a newborn and an unhappy DH kwim?
Michelle Its good to see you pop in to give us a quick update on how things are going with you and Lily. I hope your appt goes well tomorrow. Don't worry too much about the weight gain hun. As you know Sage is a "little" fella too. I didn't worry about seeing the MCHN after they made me feel like a bad mummy as Sage was small. I just kept feeding as often as possible and weighed him at the chemist when no nurses were there to tell me what I was/wasn't doing wrong and just kept seeing our Paed or GP and they were/are happy as long as he gains something and is weeing/pooing etc. As my Paed says "someone has to be below the 3rd centile in the blue book and someone has to be above the 90th centile" and it happens to be Sage who is below the 3rd but he is growing at his own pace and is following his own line
Deb I hope you have a great time camping and that you are all well now.
Janie How are you feeling hun? It sure is amazing what happend to your neice. What a special little bub she is growing. It will be your turn soon too I think
Lisa I keep meaning to ask how Miss A got on with the Opthamologist? Is everything ok with her eye? Hope you had a great time at your friend's place last night.
Willow How are you doing babe? Did the kids have fun at the party yesterday?
Jayne I hope you were able to get some sleep last night. Its awful when we lie awake with a million things running through our heads.
Anna How are you hun? What are the boys up to?
Spring How is Oliver? Is he better after the bout of Croupe?
I think I've covered everyone but If I have missed you I'm very sorry

Yippee for walking Sage, what a smart little fellow Be prepared for never having a second to relax Mako hehehehe
We are good, just chugging along. Have my sister here til friday. Boys are being their usual cheeky selves, so weird to see Rip racing along after Jett Two toddlers are definately demanding.........but alayed my fears of having 3 under 2.5 because the boys have enough energy and mischief for 10 kids! Whats ONE more
29wks today Cant believe I have 9-12wks left, probably the former more than the latter if River is anything like his brothers. Feels like its draaaaaaaaaagging by though. Im so not a patient person. Everything is ready to go, he's just got to cook another 9wks. Really think my bringing-new-life journey is over once he's out which is a bit sad, but Im starting to want ME back if that makes sense? Selfish I know but I figure I have to be just a little bit, sometimes

MAKO _ WOW that is mint! I'm glad I'm not responsible for you getting into trouble at work! hehehe How far away do you live from Darling Harbour? Is that park you told me about called Tumbalong Park or something? I saw it on the map, does it have playgrounds & stuff? Yeah, the nappy thing on FB was a cracker. She is in knickers full time now, but I ask her to go get me a nappy before bed because she isn't toilet trained over night or during day sleeps. Anyhoo, she was taking a heck of a long time & when I went into her room, I noticed she had a hard time choosing 1 nappy! LOL. Jessica completely loved it because I had to 'growl' at Claudy for making such a big mess. I was laughing, but the growling was more for Jess because she loved not being on the receiving end of being told off for the first time in her life! How is Sage now? Still taking steps? How exciting! He will be wayyyy past walking & into running when I see him!
ANNA _ You're sooooooo not selfish honey! You are having a 3rd & I didn't even get to Number 3 to want ME back! LOL. I reckon your fabulous going until now before wanting yourself back. I have the tiniest hint of independence back this year when Jess goes to Kindy 2 full days per week, but in 2 years time, I will have no babies left at home, so I bet I miss them like mad when that happens!
Big hello's to everybody! I have to scoot, Jess has her friend staying over tonight & I have to go check they have gone to sleep! Rascals they are, but they are having such fun!

Jayne What a clever girl you have on your hands, toilet trained already.Well Done Claudia
I'm about 1.5 to 2 hours away from Darling Harbour. I think it was Michelle that was talking about the park so I'm not too sure which one she's thinking of.I do recall there being some swings/play equipment there just near the exhibtion centre which is located within Darling Harbour but it has been a couple of years since I was there.
Yesterday I packed all of Sage's baby clothes away into some plastic storage tubs. Oh man did that bring back memories especially when I came across his teeny tiny 00000's but it also brought back to my attention that I'm still soooooooooo clucky
On that note,I'm off to see my Gyn/ Ob in a couple of weeks for a pap test and general check up and I WILL be asking her what path I need to go down as far as trying for a little brother or sister for Sage. I'm not sure if I'll need to start taking Clomid again or give us some time on "trying" ourselves or if I'll need to be tested for "O" each month to see what is happening with me. Oh I really didn't think I'd be posting about this for quite sometime yet but I guess its better to get it out there hey? I also think its better to atleast have some idea on what we need to do when the time comes to try again(it won't be for atleast a few more months though)
Hope you are all ok.

Mako - we did the clomid thing for Caitlyn and Oscar but Lily was al la naturale (hence *Edna* with her extraspecial DNA ) I'm not sure what your underlying difficulties were but it will depend on whether AF is back regularly, if you get fertile signs and whether you ovulate at all or irregularly as to whether you need clomid.
You also need to not be breastfeeding for the clomid (due to the diminished fertility related to breastfeeding) which is the part I found the hardest to get my head around. Some may allow both the breastfeeding and the clomid but it can impact on the success rate. In the end I didn't need to wean and the clomid wasn't needed but it was a very difficult time for me because I wanted to have Oscar self wean but I also wanted the next baby desperately.
I predict a baby boom here soon - and despite the current challenges of a toddler and newborn I could join you when you all decide you are ready
On that note - OMG No one tells you how hard it is to get a toddler and a newborn to sleep when neither of them self settle and the littlest one is having their most unsettled period at the same time as the bigger one needs to go to bed Rule number 1 - cook dinner at midday so you *may* get the chance to eat at 5pm with the toddler or 10pm when the world tilts back on its axis and they are both asleep
