JANIE _ Oh wow, that sounds great that you have your Dad around for a week, he will be a great playmate & distraction for Nicholas to help you get your stuff done.
ok, I have ran/jogged/scared the cat tonight with MORE running, I might make the Olympic trials if I keep this up!

Janie I hope you enjoy your week with your dad around to help out..I'm sure Nicholas will enjoy spending time with his Pop
Michelle I hope the gastro leaves your house very soon. Its awful when it hits hey...How is Lily doing now that she's started the Zantac?
Not much happening here atm except Sage is sick and therefore not much sleep happening here either. I think I had a total of 1 hour last night or really I should say this morning. He just has a cold but also a cough(1st time for a cough to keep him awake )
I hope tonight is a bit better.

Michelle: I feel your pain. We were hit with the bug a few weeks back and it is nasty. I hope you feel better soon and the kiddies avoid it.
Mako: DS has real difficulty sleeping when he has a cough also. To make matters worse he often coughs until he vomits. I find a vaporiser helps sometimes. I hope he is feeling better soon and you get some zzzzzz
Janie: Enjoy having your dad stay for a vist. Hope you have a great week.
Jayne: You've inspired me. I've been considering a treadmill/exercise bike but I didn't know if I would commit to it IYKWIM. What type of treadmill do you have?
Willow: You sound busy. I Looooove IKEA also. We are actually planning an IKEA day also but we will have DS with us which should be interesting.
Well we are off to swimming this morning. I've made the decision that after the classes I've prepaid are over (take us up to May) I'm going to take DS out for a while to get on top of these darn ear infections. Thankfully he is much better today so we will see how it goes. He has a really Daddy infatuation at the moment. Honestly, the first thing that comes out of his mouth is Dadda and last night after putting him to bed and telling him I love him guess what he comes out with, a little whisper of "dadda'. He asks about him all day also and almost piddles his pants with excitment once he gets home. Very cute indeed, it is funny, he changed from a mummy infatuation to a daddy infatuation almost overnight.
Lv Spring
ETA: I should say Happy 18 month Birthday to my gorgeous baby boy today I love half birthdays as much as full birthdays ( lol) I'm a sucker for birthdays.

Hi ladies,
Im still here! Finally I have my internet on at the new place and still settling in. Just had so much going on that I cant seem to get organised and its driving me nuts! Miss A is well, and talking like a 3 year old that she amazes even me. She even knows what letter all of our names start . we are off to Cairns on Saturday for a week, group of 8 are going and another little girl so the little miss will have a play friend.
Im coming to the Jayne Sydney Catch Up! Due to rob getting an influx of business we have decided to postpone Sydney for a few weeks which means I get to meet you all plus the added bonus of seeing Jayne and her girls.
I gotta fly to get some work done and to the dentist while miss a is having a play at her granny's.
Im trying to catch up on all your post so Ill be back for personals once i got my head around where you are all at.
Lots of hugs
Lisa xx

Im coming to the Jayne Sydney Catch Up!
| OMG, OMG, soooo excited!!! Mako - hope the little fella is better soon. L often wakes himself up coughing when he's sick and it's the pits! L is obsessed with shoes, he brings them to me allllll day to put them on, then will bring back a different pair etc etc. I'm calling him Imelda!! Quote: |
He asks about him all day also and almost piddles his pants with excitment once he gets home.
| Spring - L is the same with his daddy. I just had to tell him 10 times over lunch that daddy was at work. He asks so much that his newest word is 'work' hahaha! Janie - have a nice time with your dad. We've been seeing mine quite a bit the last few weeks cause he's driving trucks again and often stops in here for a break and a shower (and a sleep if hte kids let him!) after he's been to the markets and is waiting for his next load. My kids love their Poppy, he's probably DD's favourite person. Michelle - hope you're all better soon and the zantac is helping.
BBL, spent waaaay too much time on here yesterday talking and buying nappies, so gotta catch up on the housework while L sleeps, then picking DD up from preschool and taking them for another hair cut. L is up to haircut #3! It grows so fast.

Hi Ladies,
Well the gastro bug has hit me now I am waiting for my little ones to get it.
Willow - I have decided to not go down the doula path and to get a lc instead. I have also been thinking about using mcn for the newborn but have decided that I would prefer to be bfing my baby rather than washing nappies. I have heaps of mcn that suit 3months plus so I'll start using them from that stage. BTW my dad is a truckie too and my kids call him poppy.
Michelle - Get better soon..bloody awful isn't it?
Lisa - You have been in my thoughts, so glad you dropped in to say hi. Well done on my A saying letters, what a clever little girl. Enjoy Cairns, I love the place.
Janie - Enjoy your dad being around.
Spring - Happy 18 months to your little man.
Mako - I hope Sage is better soon and you get some sleep.
Jayne - WTG on the weight loss. I find it really hard to lose weight and I have to flog my body stupid to get any results, it is such a pia!!!
I hope I did not miss anything.

Me too... I have jekyl and hyde baby today... Screaming spew machine one minute and gooing sweetly at me the next!
I'm starting to get worried about lack of poo here... it's been over three days and the paed's suggestion of watered down prune juice has done bugger all... Combined with the spewing, should I be worried?

It's actually not the boy, someone else
BW, is he on a new formula? Could that be the cause? I used to know all these great remedies for constipation in babies, but I'm buggered if I can remember them now!!! Can you ring your MCHN? Mine always has good suggestions if I'm stumped. Oh, when did you give the prune juice? I remember when DS was constipated once I was giving him warm water after feeds, and thinking that it wasn't working.......but then it all came at once PMSL! Mmmm, I'll see if I can remember anything else.

We're back with the original formula... I decided the other one wasn't right so went with what we knew worked. He's nearly finished a complete tin, so we've been back on that one for at least a week. DH got him to drink prune juice around 8pm last night... I tried to give him some more around 12 today and all I got for my troubles was puked all over... and prune juice makes LOVELY puke! Sam's in his third and I'm in my second complete change of clothes today... it's one of those days where you start to think running naked in the back yard with regular hosings is the way to go.
I'm getting really stinky farts, so perhaps things are about to get started... one can only hope! Last time we used the prune juice it took less than 12 hours to get things going again.
This is so unlike Sam - I'm having trouble getting him to take his formula - and this is normally the baby I can get to drink water and prune juice with no worries because if there's a bottle in his mouth he sucks it dry... Clockwise tummy massage and bicycle legs are drawing blanks, too.
