Mako - I was surprised too!!! It never happens. She must have been tired and then mummy disrupted her warm slumber to stick her in a pram, into a lift and down to breakfast - how rude But it was lovely to catch up and Sage is just as gorgeous as ever (despite his day of tantrums less than 24 hours before )
Janie - I will be thinking of you tomorrow. I have a love / hate relationship with ultrasounds and until I see that heartbeat it is all hate!!! Call me if you need a chat / debrief
Lisa - pleased the vomiting has left the building!!
Big hello to everyone
BBL - kidlets are having dinner and I am trying to keep my eyes open long enough to get them fed and bathed. Then I have to go grocery shopping Oh for a sleep in!!!!

I am sorry that I haven't posted in so long... REally it's just because life is pretty damn cruddy and I don't want to bring down the vibe...
Immy has had a tummy bug - poor little poppet. She woke up with vomit everywhere (oooooh yuck - she says!!! - very cute...) and then the nappy end fun began... Today she is fine and eating to make up for yesterdays lack!
I finally got an order for spousal maintenance that Mr Wonderful agreed to. (I am not sure if I shared with you that he discharged his Solicitor) .. So, that is a big yippeee!
My car has died - but the mechanic believes he can fix it well enough that I will be able to get it to Brisbane to trade in... The dealership will give me $1000 as long as it drives... Where there is a will there is a way they say!
So, Mr Wonderful agreed without a Court order to release funds for a new car... So I have a black Kia Carnival waiting for me... It is 1 year old and I got a really good deal - & a cute sounding salesman with an Irish accent to boot!
Life has been a bit of a drag to be honest - but I will get there.
Janie I will be thinking of you tomorrow - holding your hand honey...

JANIE _ EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK! I go away for 4 nights, F O U R, yes, count them with me & you go & get knocked up? My goodness, woman you are GOOOOOOD! I was reading scan & Janie in the same lines & clearly I have a misunderstanding sometimes between you & Lisa so I'm just thinking Lisa is off for another scan, but NO! It's Y O U!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOT! I'm soooooooooo excited. Can you tell? Wowowow, ok, ok, far out, you're knocked up, I love it. Wow, ok, I said that, lots of times already. Great!
I'm so sorry, my personals have escaped me now. That news has just pushed the rests of my thought train out of my brain. Ooooh, except Mako & Willow, so glad you're leading men are feeling better!
Karratha was actually very nice. I'm not packing my bags just yet, even though I was shown lots of vacant houses, but if I 'HAD' to move there, I possibly could do it, only for around 18 months though. But, Alan has heaps of work in Chiny-Boo (Claudia's new word for China?? WTF?), & so I'm pretty sure he's staying put. The weather was just beautiful, 32 during the day, so warm overnight that the kids were sleeping in just their knickers. Sooooo pretty as well, we sat at a pub one day eating lunch over the beach & watched whales casually swimming passed. It was just so relaxed & exactly what Alan needed. Plus they had a kick-butt shopping centre, so I wasn't totally out of my comfort zone! haahah. Oh & also, in a tiny country town, I ran into somebody I know! How cool is that, Alan was mega-jealous as it's usually him, but it was a husband/wife duo who I used to work with & was quite friendly with, so I had lunch with him the following day & he offered me a job - I think something is telling me something. Ha ha. He is working at the local council there & said I can basically have pick of the jobs except the CEO, bummer! But anyway, all good.
Ok, best be off to be nice to Alan, he is very grumpy today for some reason.
Jayne xx

Thanks all! Will be feeling your virtual hand holding at 3pm .
Deb, please don't feel like you bring us down, I'd much rather know what's going on and how you are, than be wondering about you!!! Gosh, your XDH sounds like my dad, he got rid of his solicitor too.........got up in the Magistrate's court and looked like a fool apparently! SO glad you are getting your spousal maintenance, and that you're on your way to a new car!!!

How would I know if my baby had reflux? Like medication required kinda reflux??
Not sure if it's just the fall out of a week of ABs but this is not the same baby I had a week ago
MIL has taken the big two for the day so I am getting out of the house and doing a day of shopping for the kids summer clothes. Just hope the little man co-operates, mummy needs a break |

Willow, my guess it that it would be ABs (although mummy's instinct is often right ). He is so little, they will be wreaking havoc on his tiny system . I know they have always upset DS terribly, especially when he was a baby. What makes you think reflux? Can you tell us about it (in all your free time )..........massive hugs
Thanks AGAIN everyone, I REALLY appreciate all your support . Deb, I have tears.......

Willow I am sorry I missed your post honey... xxxx
I too would suggest it is highly likely tht it's the AB's. Immy on AB's she really had strife with her belly - and it is so common.
Can you tell me some more about his symptoms.? |

Just a quick fly by to say I GOT A HOUSE
Its nothing special, just a little old 3bedder fibro home but its in the suburb exH lives in and right where I grew up. I move in Fri week. The owner has asked for an initial 3mth lease and Im cool with that. After that I can find somewhere else or stick around on a month-by-month basis or 6/12mth lease. It means I wont have to change their daycare (that they start tomorrow); I can start TTing Jett hopefully so he can go to preschool next year (which I can now waitlist him for); they can start swimming lessons and Im thinking of putting Jett in soccer class. I cant wait to have MY stuff in MY house.
I feel so grown up
Hope your all having a great day!
ETA - thinking of you Janie!

| | Janie - thinking of you and can't wait to hear how it all went!! Anna - WOOOOOT!! Bout time someone gave you a break! You won't be far from me so we'll have to orgganise a meet up soon with all the Sydney gals. Bek - I'm hearing you...
Shopping trip went well except stoopid St George bank's systems were down all day and I couldn't get access to my savings accounts (even in branch ) so the shopping was limited. I actually got a bit teary when I realised I couldn't get hold of my money...was going to buy myself a new phone and everything Mummy's a bit emotional today! lol.
As for the baby boy...symptoms are: generally being a lot more unsettled than usual, taking a lot longer to settle him to sleep and he is not sleeping anywhere near as well as he was - he was doing a 5, sometimes 6 hour block at night but last night woke every 2-3.5 hours. Still normal I know but a big change for him. Days are even worse. He is also posetting a lot (which started after we commenced the IV AB's in hospital, he'd never really done it previously) but mainly just a lot of gulping, swallowing, scrunching himself up, crying (had an episode this morning, he was in the rocker in the bathroom with me while I had a quick shower and got himself that worked up before I could get to him that he turned bright red and broke out in a sweat He has never cried like that before) etc etc. Something is distrubing his sleep and generally making him unhappy and I'm positive it's his tummy.
Both the paed and the chemist warned us it would upset his little tummy but the funny thing is he's been on a smaller dose less frequently the last two days but these have been his most unsettled days I've been giving him Brauer's Stomach Calm when he seems really upset and sometimes it helps.
We still have the hurdle of the u/sound on his clicky hip in a week and a half and then see the paed again after that but if he doesn't settle down in the next few days I may make an appt sooner to discuss this with him.
I was thinking today, if I took a pro biotic, would he get any benefit from it through my breastmilk??
I really, really, really hope he doesn't have relux | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
