Jayne - sorry I missed it, but hope you had a fab birthday and got spoilt !!

Hi to all - first non-rainy day here in Hobart, so will be stepping out!! I'm in search of the best double pram - do any of you have any advice - I don't want a tandem or side-by side (I don't think) so Phil & Teds my only option?? Currently have a Mountain Buggy, so anything will be a step backwards imo, but can't be helped.... all advice welcome!! My DD1 is very tall, and the base model P&T just wasn't high enough for her, it's a pain!!

Lee x

Happy Birthday Jayne, I hope you had a wonderful day missy .

Thanks for all your kind words girls. The weekend was pretty good actually, it was lovely to see Grandma, although very unwell, she looks about as comfortable as she could be, and the nursing staff are lovely. So I left feeling okay about it, not too distressed at all. Of course, I'm sad to lose my Grandma, but she is almost 80, and I guess that's life. I'm just glad that she's not too uncomfortable, and TBH, I hope it's not too long for her now. She did actually seem not too bad over the weekend, but we were pretty aware that she'd put in a big effort because she knew we were all coming. I actually left feeling that I might just see her again in a couple of weeks. But mum text me last night saying that they are starting morphine injections today, so I'm assuming that it won't be too long now (Michelle??).

My body held it together pretty well, although the weather down there was SHOCKING, so wild. It kept me awake for 3 hours on Saturday night. And then last night, although no wild weather , I was awake for almost 3 hours again, so I'm absolutely buggered today. I could seriously forget that I'm pg, I'm that tired, I feel like I did when DS was littler and didn't sleep well . Trying not to think too hard about that actually .

Hope you all have a lovely day xoxo

Janie - it probably won't be too long It is hard to know though. Some people have their own agenda on the road to death and keep going until things are *finished*

I think she's finished Michelle, she looks it anyway. I think she's waiting for my Grandad to become more accepting, he is just not ready to lose her. The palliative care nurses are starting to work on him this week though. I feel so sad for him, they've been together for over 55 years. He is hanging on so tight, but she just needs his permission now I think.

ETA Oh and I just wanted to say YIPPEE to me!!!!! I'm over 12 weeks now . Only two sleeps til my scan, fingers crossed all goes well.

Oh Janie I'm sending you great big hun. I hope your Grandad is ok and he has many people surrounding him during this difficult time.
On a brighter note all the best for your scan on Thursday.

I've just rang our GP to get Sage's results and they came back all ok this time. What a relief. I was so worried that something was going to show up this time but thankfully its all good. So we still have an appt to see our Paed for Sage's 2 year check next month and hopefully that'll be it and we'll be able to just carry on on our merry way
