that's both hysterically funny and kind of cute. What's the response, no not in this shop darling, we'd like to come back. Run next door where they were rude and let it go there

I live in a house with 3 males. I think it's a great question brontide, but if DH is anything to go by, I really don't want to know the answer.

At the moment we're working on farting quietly inside and loudly outside. At least if they fart quietly in the shops I can sneak off and pretend it was someone else

Thank you for the huge belly laughs - it brings back memories.

I grew up with a dad who let rip loudly (still does) around immediate family, and they were usually the stinky kind!! A very sensible man, his catchphrase was "better out, than in" when my mum, sister and I moaned and groaned and said "Ooohhhhh, dad!".

My DH on the other hand must have a genetic malfunction, he actually doesn't find farts particularly funny ... ??? Yes, he's male ... I've checked! Unfortunately for him, I have a tiny weakness for toilet humour ... so I'm finding this thread hilarious.

It'll be interesting to see what DS does in a year or two's time.
Good luck with your boys Bron!

PMSL thats funny, I am going to have to remember that one for the next time BHL is home and in the shower ( yep thats right it will be me doing it to him )

I came from a house of prudes, almost no one farts, or they pretend they dont...

But my younger sister and I do always have thought it was funny to gross out the other sisters... my sister used to go around smell everyones butt to see who it was ( I am one of 7 so a lot of butts to sniff ) even now she can tell who " brand " it is...

Believe it or not we all have a brand, unless is a real stinker... just take not and you too will be able to smell the differnt brands of you loved ones

But to the question at hand, school is my answer, goes for pinking their nose too, at some stage in school normally about year 2/3 ( well it was the time for DS anyway ) the girls start to turn their noses up at stinky smells in class, so everyone learns to hold them in, until they are out side... school does have it good points...

I have told my winkies to hold them in every now and then but not until they are about 5ish as you can hold onto them if you need too, I tell BHL all the time if you just hold them in the go away and come back about an hour or so later, so please hold them in and dont let them out while we are in the car...

thats my only pet hate with fart that's when they are no longer funny, when your stuck in the car and BHL thinks its funny to press the lock on all the windows before letting one rip....

BHL works with a guy who thinks it wrong that woman fart and tell his girlfriend this ( when he has one ) he said it turns him off a chick if she ever lets one go... Now thats werid... So what do you think BHL told his mate... thats right told him that I can fart louder and stinker than him half the time... it made for a great BBQ
