Question pro biotic for 3 year old

DS had gastro earlier in the week, and the gas cramps and runs just are not leaving without a fight, today is the first day he would eat anything since Sunday, and all he ate today was a few bites of my salad roll. Went to the hossy on Wed night, they just said dont worry about food but push the fluids through.

Today I went to the health shop for advice. I bought Chamomile tea, am diluting it in his drink bottle with some weak cordial, it is going down a treat. I also bought some probiotic capsules. The lady at the health shop advised me to break open the capsule and sprinkly the powder on his food, however he isn't eating still...

Does anyone have any ideas on how to administer the pro biotic powder??

falguni - I figureed it would taste gross so haven't even tried just giving it to him by itself!

Kelly - yoghurt is a great idea, maybe in a strawberry Quik too

thanks for your suggestions guys, I also thought of drawing up some juice in a syringe and tipping the powder in the top of syringe and shoting it into his mouth, that way I know he will get most of it.
