Default Low/no intervention Ob/Gyn near Glen Eira area

Hi - I'm just after people's experiences/opinions. Not currently pg, but researching for next time. I was pg, but don't want to stay with Ob we had - she was a good surgeon, but couldn't really relate to her & I wasn't confident I'd get a low intervention birth.

My GP has recommened Lionel Steinberg & Len Kliman, but they're on the other side of the city to me. I'm not sure I want to get stuck in traffic when in labour trying to get over the river.

I've also been recommended to Dennis Price in Malvern. Has anyone had experience with any of these guys?

Are there any female low intervention Ob/Gyn's this side of the city?

I'm being referred to a gyn by GP for possible progresterone problem that may have affected our recent mc, and will be using that as an opportunity to see if I can click with someone for future pregnancies.

TIA

When we lived in Caulfield and had our middle child in 2003 we had Dr Len Matthews. I can highly recommend him. Even though I had to have an induction he took it verrrry slowly and agreed that low intervention was the way to go. Compared to my other induction in the public system he was so much more respectful of my choices and ability to birth my baby with as minimal imput from him as possible. My other experience, in contrast, was totally hurried and awful because of that. Dr Matthews was also very respectful to me and my DH. I always felt good after seeing him.
