Big BellyBelly Meetup for Everyone in Brisbane August 2009

Thanks for the support guys in a meetup for us all here in Brisbane. The poll for months showed a huge favour to August so in planning time for another poll on dates and I have 3 venues that are close to public transport etc.

2 Cafes Both with kids Activities: (remember if we get to over 20 we will be takinging up most of thier business for a lunch)
Cafe Mumma in Windsor at the homemaker centre
Breathing Space in Indooroopilly near the train station

Or The Chermside Bowls Club

So I am think lets poll on venue and dates now so we can get this running and people can plan flights places to stay etc. Also so we can fit it in before Sambo's bub makes an arrival so Sat 1st and 8th are the 2 I have confirmed the venues for.

So please remember to vote for a date and location. I will run the poll for 2 weeks to allow all interested to get in please spread the word to other BB members so we can make this a catchup to remember it will be great to put some faces to names. This will be sooo much fun

Hi Linda, How big is Cafe Mumma compared to Breathing Space?

Cafe Mumma said they can sit 34 inside they do seem to be a bit larger and thier is more parking at the homemaker centre than Indoorpilly.

The Bowls Club would give us a room we would need to plan some atcvities hope this helps.

I picked the 8th cos it will be DD's 1st birthday on the 2nd.. and if we have a party (which I doubt anyway) we would have it on the 1st...

I am not fussed on the actual date. If I fly in on Saturday morning (red eye, yawn) then I can get the cheapest flight and plan to fly back out at lunch time on Sunday. I just hope Virgin keep doing the cheap flights!! As long as where ever we go has good food, and good company, anything will do.

Rhiannon - I am coming WITHOUT Em!! She has the 2 year old attitude already, picked it up from Sarah!!

HEY GUYS
I have voted for the 8th and Cafe Mumma, but equally happy with the 1st and the Bowls club too. It is a guess in the dark for me...not sure what any of them are like and as for timing, i will have a new baby then, so i guess the further on the better. I have no idea what to expect yet...all good i hope.
Looking forward to meeting you all. Hope my DH can come too.
