well dh and i have voted the 8th august and for chermside bowling club as were coming a very long way and my brother lives at chermside so will be very easy for us |

Linda...we are so lucky to have you to organise this big catch up, cant wait to put more names to faces. I'm voting for August 8th even though this is my DS's birthday however i can also make it to the 1st should that suit the majority.

When I spoke to DH today, I said "I have decided that L and I are going on a holiday in August. We are going to Brissy for a weekend." And He DIDN'T argue!! So I have no fights on this one, I have been wanting a holiday on my own for ages, and DH knows it!! Told him how much flights are likely to be and he was really quite happy with the idea of me taking a break!!
Now to go add this thread to my sig!! Im A Coming to Brisbane!!!

Actually I'm going to be a pain now. I think the 1st of Aug might be out for me, so I prefer the 8th. But I have already voted for a location so I can't vote again. So can you just mentally add 1 to the vote for the 8th LOL!

Oh how exciting, I'm not fussed on any of the particulars, but am I able to grab a lift from someone on the southside? I'm based in Springwood, and have my little guy Blake, and do have a carseat to chuck in someone's car.

Ooooooooo me and Jazz too please. I went for the bowls club and cafe mumma, just because their closer, plus I think it'll be easy with the bowls club having a room to ourselves. I voted August 1 cos we might have Jazzy's b'day party on the 8th but no exactly sure!

Ooh yes, I'd love to come. But I think I might leave DH and DD at home and only bring DS so I can actually meet and chat with people instead of having to look after them.
Ashlee, I can offer you a lift if DD is not coming, I'm not far from Springwood (Runcorn).

I don't mind, as long as there is something to occupy a 4 & a 1 year old I'll be happy. Unless it is a kids-free weekend and then we can just come and play with everybody else's kids ok I will, DP will just sit there and laugh like he does when DSS1 and I play silly games together now.
