Do you care for post-natal women?
They will be at a great advantage if you attend this very important, must-attend workshop. Update and enhance support skills and knowledge to more effectively support women through breastfeeding, PND, loss, caesarean, multiples, settling and more.
How could a woman suffering from post-natal psychosis, slip unnoticed through the cracks? A woman who thinks her only way to get help from those out to get her, is to break her baby?s arm, so an ambulance would come and save them?
It?s time to take positive action ? so we?re putting on this fabulous workshop on Saturday the 24th May in Canterbury (in the BellyBelly Pregnancy Centre) which is all about enhancing and updating post-natal support skills and knowledge relevant to what is happening today. It is designed for anyone working with post-natal women from midwives to doulas to doctors and maternal and child health nurses and so on.
The speakers are brilliant with years of experience in their fields, and they all want to help make an impact in the state of affairs for post-natal women. Sadly more and more women are needing support and too many are falling through the cracks.
Lets work together, stand side by side and support women, bringing forward the need for more support services which are so desperately needed. So come along, hear from some industry greats and have a great day out!
