| | Low Blood Pressure
hi everyone, this is my 1st post so im a little nervous.
My blood pressure is really low (84/30) is this really bad and will it do any damage to the baby at 28 weeks? |

wow thats low, are you drinking enough during the day?? what did the dr say about it been that low?

i drink about 2 litres of water a day and my ob hasnt said anything about it...my family picked it up.

hello.... mine's low too..... not quite as low as yours, mine is about 90/40...... isn't meant to be anything to worry about, was at the docs last week..... just means if you stand up too quickly you could feel feint, or pass out, if you feel dizzy to get yourself close to the ground in case you do pass out.... you prob have low blood pressure normally, and pregnancy makes it even lower...
but if you are worried get it checked out.

How has it been at your appts? Is it continuly low?
I had low BP with both pregnancies. All I can recommend is water, get up slowly when lying or sitting, if you feel dizzy put your head between your legs or if you can lie down and elevate your legs.

thanks, i do normally have low blood pressure but i will ask my OB nxt monday when i see him.
