LTTTC & Taking Clomid/Metformin 2009 #2

Wantbaby#2. I haven't had the tests before. We were trying for 12 months then were referred to FS, who had a look and did some tests and determined that I wasn't ovulating, or if I was it was only every now and then. So he put me on chlomid for 4 months to see if that worked, otherwise I was in for review - ie lap and Hysp to see if there is anything that isn't quite right ie, tubes blocked or endemetri... which is what is suspected now as I get very very painful around my hips for half my month. He didn't do the test before as I didnt fit into any of the categories to have tube problems.

It is very interesting this whole process - ie my FS has now got me ovulating (ie at least one egg a month) but I think my DH and I must be a bit unco or there is something else not right in there!! Ie after they do the lap and hysp I will have some answeres.

Update on me - well day 30 today and nothing, well a tiny bit of pink spotting but thats it! Do i waste more money and buy another hpt or just hold out and see what happens? Im really going insane....

i did a hpt today just incase but got a BFN, im not too upset i didnt get my hopes up at all this month seeing it is my first cycle after mc. Hopefully next time will be my lucky month.

HI All

Well AF arrived this afternoon,so that makes it day 32,wow a nice long cycle! Means i must ve OV around day 18,well i didnt BD days 16,17 & 18 so maybe thats my reason for BFN this month????

Oh well back on the TTC wagon for a new month,makes it cycle number 10 now since mc,im sure my BFP is just around the corner

Just the HPT test Ellasmum, AF has not come as yet so there is still hope i guess. As i said i am ok with the BFN this month because i had no expectations what so ever this month so it is strange but im ok with it. I have been very busy the last few days so ive not realy thought about it, i have been laying my floating floor and i might say ive done a good job! ( sorry for the self praise lol )

any way i am buggered and think i need a nice hot shower and go non nighs take care everyone

Firstly congrats Ella's Mum, What wonderful news! Good luck, & make sure to keep us updated.....

Im on day 26, no preg symptoms as yet, but fingers crossed its just to early. Still every now and then getting the tiny cramps but that's about it.

Everyone around me seems to be getting pg, as excited as i am for them, all i can think is y not me. Its so hard as we all no. Anyway hope to hear some more good news soon.

Beckie - AF arrived for my on Sunday arvo too - and so sick from it this month! Does anyone know how soon after having a lap/hys you can start trying again???

Tammara - sorry to hear the BFN - hopefully AF don't arrive for you though.

So we are insync again this month,cool!

My FS said you can BD as soon as you feel ok to do so, i thought id OV 3 days after op so we dtd then and i was fine but all FS are different i suppose.

ALso as AF arrived for me sun PM does that mean that today is day 1? I need ot start my clomid on day 2 so im a little confused......

Good luck with the op, i was fine after about 2 days and back at work and ive had 3 laps but the shoulder tip pain is a doosie!

Hi Beckie - I have checked this one out, as I have had this question of my FS before. Even though you get your AF in the pm (which I did too), it is still classified day one yesterday - so today is day 2.

I am not taking chlomid this month, as i have to wait for a natural AF after my lap, I am a bit nervous as to what they will find, but hopefully nothing~

Thanks for that, i took my first tablet last night, i heard they are much better when taken at night, heres hoping!

With regards to lap, i had one back in 06 and was pg the next month so i myself have alot of faith in the old lap, i have endo so a good clean out helps i think.

just popping in to let you know AF came today so im onto round two of the clomid tomorrow (i think, better check the box) so even though no pregnancy im happy that AF came so i know - hope- i will be regular-ish

Oh my goodness - my Fs has said I can get copies of photos from my lap, if I want!!!! Not sure about that. Has anyone else?

Hi 31Becc...When i had my lap in aug 08 i received photos.Not very pretty and had to have it all explained to me as to what,was what.Just a messy blob of yuk was what i thought but the surgeon said "its beautiful"........flowers are beautiful,not my insides as far as im concerned.LOL

Ok so on day 28.. I was feeling sik yesterday and found a hpt at home & i couldnt resist. I got a bfn, but i'm hoping that day 27 was just to early to tell, i promised myself i wouldnt do one but i gave in. My cycle is usually 32 days. ???
