Tammara - that is great news - I think it is called IUI. That is what I was possibly starting in September. Apparently it has a good success rate according to my doctor, so I hope it works for you.

Hi Girls
Long time no chat, last time i was on here DH and i had decided no more clomid, well guess what,FS has strongly suggested we have another go and this time i will be monitored with US and given a trigger injection so im hoping this may work! We have now hit the one year mark since we lost our baby girl so i think im due for my BFP.
Speaking of BFP, congrats Bec, how exciting for you,i hope all goes great!
So i think i may be joining you girls once again this month for a bit of support if you dont mind?

Hi Girls
I started on the nasal spray on Saturday, pretty easy but it does leave a bit of a taste in your mouth but this only lasts a minute or less so i just have water in hand. Im having the spray for two weeks then get another blood test then start on the injections. Not too keen on giving myself injections but you gotta do it
Hopw everyone is going along great!

Welcome back Beckie, also hope it worked this month Frustrated.
Tammara fingers crossed for you too.
AFM - I had my blood test again today and got the phone call from the FS confirming yes I am finally preggies!!!!!! I am still in shock and have no idea now what I am supposed to be doing as I have concentrated on getting BFP for so long - didn't think what is to come afterwards!
Thanks for all the great support on here and I wish you all the best. I won't post much more now, but will keep an eye on the pages and popping in every now and then - I would love to see more BFP in the future. I have my fingers crossed for all of you.
Baby dust to all

Hi gy=uys, I thought I would join this group, I have PCOS and been trying for last 18months, I been on clomid now for 6 months and no ovulation at all I am currently on 100mg but obs wants me to stay on that amount again this month, I want to up it as I want to try a higher dose to get things moving but is this dangerous? Well I like reading your stories and gives me some hope.

hi Mandii, hope you get alot of information and comfort from this link. As for upping your dose i dont know about being dangerous but i would talk to your dr before you do anything that way you know you are doing the best you can.
Ive been doing the naisal spray for just over a week now, go to see FS tomorrow to learn how to inject myself, fun day ahead - hope i dont have to keep practising lol but it will be all worth it if i get my mini me out of it
Hope your weekends were relaxing

Hi ladies
My BT on CD9 came back as no response, so I got another done Saturday (CD11) and still no response. My FS had put me on another course (5 days) of clomid (still 50mg) and then another BT when finished. Has anyone else done more than one course in a cycle?
Hope all are well.

Hi ladies, just a little update with me. I seen the Dr today and discussed the next step - i have been doing the nasal spray for 10 days now and i have to go for another blood test on thursday and if that is all good then i start taking the injections on the monday. Then i think 2 weeks after i start injections i have an ultrasound to check my folicles and hopefully i will have the right amount of good ones and then get inseminated on August 14th (sound like a cow lol).
So fingers crossed everything goes well.

I dont mind, im doing IUI - intrauterine insemination (excuse spelling) because my hubby is working away and timing is just not on our side.
I think this is how it works - i use a nasal spray for 14 days to take my hormones away then have a blood test to see if things are going on then i start taking injections to get me ready for ovulation for 14 days then another blood test and if everything is going well (this is where im not 100% sure) i think i will go and have an ultrasound to count folicles and if everything is going the way it should i have to take 3 more injections to ovulate then i go to the dr's and the washed sperm gets inserted into me.
im sure there is lots more but i think thats the basics | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
