| | Day 3 transfer, has anyone had sucess???
Hi lovely ladies,
I have had a day 3 transfer today, one 8 cell and one 4 cell. I only had 3 eggs collected and only 2 were good to be ICSI'd. So that is why the FS didn't want to wait till day 5 as I only had 2 eggs and so I had my transfer today at day 3.
Has anyone had success at day 3 transfer and how many eggs were transfered and what were their cell size. Every time I have done a cycle, I have never got to a Blastocyst stage, and am very nervous. Any help, tips and advise will be appreciated.
xx

I have had 3 preg with day 3's, Eliza was a single transfer of a 8 cell (grade 3) and took. The specialist did comment on her quality at the time of transfer.
Good luck I hope this little one sticks

Good Luck

GL Max! It definitely could happen.
Thanks for starting this thread. I felt it reassuring to read. I am due for EPU Friday, and have just been told I only have 3 follies at the right size (out of 18), so we're now looking at a day 3, not 5 ET if we actually get that far. Is good to hear many accts of Pg's after day3 ET's, hey! LOTS of sticky vibes for you hun.
Take care & keep pos won't you!
Arielle

Hi Kelly,
Are twins hard work? Do you get any time to relax? I might have twins, as I had 2 eggs transferred. Anything is a blessing to me I say..

Max they are hard work but I guess it seems normal to me. Though at the moment I am exhausted, Adam has gastro so I was up most of the night, tonight he drank his bottle of milk at bedtime then promptly threw it straight up. I'll feed him again around 10pm Just hoping that Hayden doesn't get it too.
But seriously definately worth it, especially watching them interact together makes me think if I had of had one how different it would have been. I found from early on I was able to feed them both and change nappies within an hour which was better than I expected, so I did have some relax time. Now they are more lively relax time is nap time, though usually its doing housework so not really relaxing. Lucky at the moment they tend to have both morning and afternoon naps at the same time. Went through a stage where that wasn't happening which was hard.
We are lucky that they go to bed at 6pm so after that we have dinner and time together.
good luck
