Default round 2!!!

Hi everyone congrats to frustrated thats excellent news!!! So i havent been on here for a few weeks. I took my second round of clomid this month only half a tablet like my gyn said, i have one week to go until my period should arrive lets hope it doesnt last time the medication gave me sore and swollen boobs, really tired like went to bed at 9 oclock and woke up at 1.15 the next day!! i felt crappy, cranky and emotional. This time i have been tired, not as cranky but got mild headaches the first few days of taking them. So the countdown is on...trying not to think about it too much.

Thanks bella.. And like tammara said Taking it at night works wonders, the only sight effect i really got was the hot flushes.. My goodness they were bad. GOod luck for that positive in a weeks time for you..
1 more day Tammara how exciting let us no how you go, i have everything crossed for you that they get you started straight away.

ok so i'm 6 weeks ( Still so early ) been really good the last week have felt great actually.
Except for a few dramas that have arised with people, so hard to go through this and try relax when people who are supposed to be close to me cause dramas, selfish people who need to grow up. Oh sorry there was my little vent.

So i'm not real sure either am i supposed to leave this sight now coz i am PG? I'm not sure how it works, like i said before i dont want people to get annoyed coz im in this site and PG, i just really want to keep updated with what is happening with everyone, as you were all there for me thru it ??????

Hi Tammara,

I might just stay around here for a little while but im more than happy to give you my email address Is there somewhere on here i can send it private?

So i did isci Ivf, which involves then implanting 1 bladoclast into me. You can either pay the Gap or the full amount the gap is roughly $4590 or the entire amount is about $6490 ( Give or tale a little ) which ever way you choose to pay you get the same amount back from medicare i think that you are out of pocket about $2000, we are still waiting on medicare cheque so i cant be exact. If you pay the gap tho it does take longer to get your refund back from medicare.then there is the hospital fee, I am not covered by private health insurance so it cost us $1300 for the hosp fee ( i was in there for about 3 - 4 hours) then another $350 for the anaesthesist asi im not in a provate hea;th fund i doi not get any of the hosp fees $1300 + $350 back. I would have paid all the money in the world to have gotten a bub.. Hope this helps..

Smile Hello

Hi Frustrated. Ive just read you post, Hope you dont mind.. we are in the same position we did icsi also. We have no medical insurance (not til May).. i had to go in twice this year & then pay for the ivf , which we got most of it back due to medicare, but not the hos & anethestist part. Im due for my blood test in about 2hrs.. dreading it as i got AF last night... so upset. How are you going with it all ..

Sorry I haven't posted in here for a while but saw your thread & thought I could offer help. So annoyed I had a whole long post done and whenI hit submit I lost the lot! Bl**dy Have to try & remember it all now.

Tammara, The costs vary clinic to clinic. Mine were similar to Frustrated's but we were in health fund so we claimed some but with an extra $1800 as hubby had sperm morphology & antibody issues and ended up having to get his sperm sample surgically. If you are willing to travel it might be cheaper, my bestie goes to a clinic in Sydney & pays a fair bit less than us, & I have another IVF friend who travels from the Gold Coast to Sydney for all her procedures & reckons she saves a stack. Most IVF clinic websites have a price list so you just have find out from your FS exactly what you need done & compare. There is also a Costs Involved With IVF thread on here, you should find it under the forums index. Good luck and I hope it works for you.

Frustrated, you don't have to leave this site cause you pg, but there are plenty of pg threads on here to join. The direct follow on from this one is Pregnancy After LTTTC (in the Long Term TTC section) or off the main forums index there is Belly Buddies, where you can join a thread for your trimester or also in there is threads for girls due in the same month/fortnight as you. I find them really helpful to chat to ppl who have been & are going thru exact same things as you, many who already have kids & can give you great advice. Sorry to here of your people probs, just remember everyone acts out for a reason, maybe something is going on in there life that you don't know about? My Sis-In-Law was a total psycho when I was pg with DD1. Later after we made up we found out she had ben suffering Depression. I hope you can find a peaceful solution so you can get on & relax & enjoy your time pg. Good luck and I wish you a h&h pg.

Sending to the rest of you still waiting for your miracle hopefully Santa brings us all the special present we want for chrissy.

GOLDILOCKS. try stay positive, They say that people can still seem lke they have af but are pg. I really feel for you i know how frustrating the wait is then for that to happen i cant imagine. But try stay positive. After i had the collection i had 2 weeks off work, 1 week to recover from collection then another week off after they did the transfer i honestly think this helped me. I tried to do everything that i possibly could to try make this work, and was in total shock when we got that BFP. I still everyday expect something to go wrong. So far so good tho, 1st viability scan next friday so i will feel alot more at ease when i have that done.
GOod luck, Please let me know how it all goes.. Thinking of you

Went to the FS today and looked at the pics of my surgery (very interesting) and the doc said he would let me go naturally for a couple of months to try and get preg but with hubby working away thats not an option unfortunately so i will wait another 3-4 weeks to see if i get another period then if not i will get the bloods done and start the injections.

So hopefully i wont get another one and get my BFP
