Evening Ladies, how is everyone?

First up, I want to send out huge hugs to all those girls who have recently had a BFN (Paula, Meg, Starbright, Melttc - sorry if I've missed anyone). My heart goes out to you all in this very difficult time, and I know there is nothing I can say to make it any easier, but just know that we on BB are here for you as a shoulder to cry on.

Paula - you are truly an inspiration to us all with your courage and perseverance in your quest for a baby.I hope with all my heart that the next one will be the one for you.

Also congratulations to those with BFPs (Coral, Airline and LondonMiss).

AFM - we had embryo transfer this morning (FET), and had 2 x day 5 blasties put back. DH and I also DTD when I ovulated, just to give ourselves the best chance of falling pregnant. Did acupuncture before and after transfer, so here's hoping it all works and we get that BFP we've been longing for. At this stage, pregnancy BT is booked for Monday 16th Nov.

Sending out lots of and to everyone out there in the TWW. Fingers crossed for everyone.

Wishes xoxo

Well, our 2WW is over for another month I had such a good feeling about this month, we did everything right, we even went away for the weekend so I wouldn't be stressed out!

It's finally made us realise that we need to get ourselves to an FS. 3 years is just too long for it be a 'minor problem conceiving'. I've decided to start up an official TTC blog, so we can keep track of when everything happened - who knows, maybe one day we'll have a child to show it to and say 'See how much we wanted you?'

Sorry ladies, I'm a downer today - to everyone with BFP's, congratulations, and everyone with BFN'S - you're not along

Hi ladies,

Thanks for a warm welcome Melttc & Star-light. To both of you i am so sorry for it not working this time but don't loose the faith, your time will come x
Coral73 - All the best for Monday hope the numbers are good x

I had a panic last night (Saturday) as i started spotting (8dpt) brown stringy mucus (TMI)
only when i wiped myself after a pee. As you can imagine i never got much sleep last night, more twinges & slight AF cramps, but nothing this morning thank god
Plus i've got VIP tickets to see Beyonce in concert here in Athens.
(Don't look like i'll be able to shake my booty the way i'd like to)

But will keep you all posted x It's 08:45 am here in Greece

Electra x

Hi Ladies, I have been away for a long weekend and am just catching up on all the news.

A huge congratulations to Airline & LondonMiss I am so happy for you both.

Their has been plenty of ladies who were slow starters and have gone on to have successful pregnancies. Good luck for your BTs this week... Fingers crossed that everything is fine and your fears are put to rest. x

Paula, Meg, Melttc, Starbright, Sunflower_girlie - so sorry to hear about your BFNs. that your number comes up soon. x

for all those waiting

Hi Ladies,

Well the results are in and I am still as confused as ever!!

Here is the summary of Hcg:

Monday, 2 was at 153
Friday, 6 should be at least 612 (I was only 415).
Monday, 9 should be at least 1245 for 48hr doubling time (I came in at 998 today which is a doubling time of 3 days which is still acceptable as you should double every 2-3days).

Hcg is rising better than 2nd beta, however, still a bit on the slow side.

Unfortunately, the bad news is that my progesterone has dropped from 87.6 to 57.1 which is not good.... . Apparently anything above 30 is good though so I am above the minimum. I am back on the progesterone support tonight and will have to do it twice a day...

I am going to go in for another BT on Thursday (at my request) just to ease my mind...

So in summary, I seem to have gotten better in the Hcg department and worse in the progesterone department- arrgghh!!!

So freaking out yet again until Thursdays BT results ...

'ing that all will be ok...

As for me, I've had a couple of glasses of sparkling shiraz which I must say I am not quite sure about. I'm feeling really really fat. The injections do nothing for your weight or body image do they!?

Murraycod - thanks for the info. I'm here in Australia for two years, possible three, from London, and I wanted Miss London but I think I managed to get it the wrong way round... Anyway. bed time I think. Night all x
Hi LM, just to wish lots of luck for tomorrow, . Im not sure where the TWW thread is? lol, so did it this way, im from the Uk too. Will be thinking of you and good luck to everyone who is also waiting for that precious BP.

Coral, Sounds like you have a little fighter on your hands and it is great that that your HcG is rising. I had a follow-up BT today also just to see how things are going. My HcG was fine but my progesterone has also dropped from 80 to 66. This was with me on 1 pesserie a day. They have now asked me to up it to 2 pesseries a day. I figure if I have to take pesseries for my whole pregnancy so be it. It will send me broke but its only money. Anyway just wanted to let you know that just because your prog has dropped it doesn't mean your HcG will stop going up. Try not to stress to much about it hon.... it can't be good for you.

Hey Coral and Mitf,

Sorry I haven't been on this thread for quite a while but always lurk to see how the gang are going and hope more BFP's come to all that join. I have been where you both are now...hang in there and don't give up. I am now 32 weeks with my 7th embryo transfer and I was on 5 pessaries a day until about 11 weeks and slowly weened off at 14 weeks. Plus I took progesterone oil injections from 4 -10 weeks. I was a progesterone junkie for a while!! Shaky numbers can come good...some of us just need a bit of extra help
I had some bleeding early and many a time cried thinking the end was near but it never came with all the support and extra help my dr made sure I got.

I spent an absolute fortune on pessaries and injections but it was all worth it. (Plus I claimed some of it back from my private health cover...which I only found out about after)

Everyone else....good luck and no matter what don't give up hope xxx

Hi Coral
just popping in to ask if your doc gives you printout from BT folk? Mine does and I'm equally confused in a way about my second BT, so we're going for a 3rd.

My doc's point (this is the GP), is that the hCG range can be so vast. eg:

week 4 - lower =40 median=350 upper=2000
week 5 lower=400 m=1800 u=10000
w6 l=1600 m=8000 u=33000

for the record, my first BT was 86 taken last Thursday, 2nd BT taken last Sat so 48hrs hours later it was 170. Now I was happy with that...but GP said 'let's get another, and it'd be nice to see it in the 1000s....which brought me down a bit, but I'm trying really hard not to linger on it.

Hopefully though for you, seeing the vast ranges will alleviate some of your concern. xx

Coral,

My progesterone dropped too (50, 40, 35 roughly were my numbers), but after research, I found that it is variable throughout the day, and can vary on if you've eaten recently of not!

I was put on pessaries (once a day) because I was heading overseas and couldn't get a 4th BT done to check out the levels again. More of a precaution.

But I'm 9 weeks now, and everything has been just fine. Except the constant hunger! But no spotting at all.

Fingers crossed that you just had a late snack & that caused a drop.
