Saph -thinking of you. Such a result is so devastating and frustrating, but hopeful at the same time. And 'Almost BFP' is such a ***t result. Let the tears come, they hurt but it can help. All the best in the next few days. Thinking of you.
Sorry girls, I'm in trouble with DH for being online too much, so no more personals.
AFM - just some extra crampy feelings which I'm guessing (?) is implantation. Lordy I hope so. Had a baaaad day starting with a parking ticket outside my house, and it just didn't let up. Have also decided that I really have absolutely no respect for my boss, who is a soft ***k and is scared of me - me! I'm half his age and I could do his job better than he can.
And still have 2500 words to go on my essay...spent too much time on BB last night.
I'll update when I have something other than vague stupid TWW cramps...
All the best everyone.
Seph

Delly - I'm so sorry hun that you have spotting and cramps today. I'll still be thinking positive thoughts for you until your BT on Saturday though. I'll be waiting in anticipation to hear about your results. AFM - looks like I might be in the same boat as you too. No cramps, but just went to the bathroom and got the first sign of spotting. I'm also one who tends to go "searching" for AF signs, and there is a whole lot of brown/pink/red just up on the inside which I'm guessing is just waiting to come out (sorry about the too much information). I'm 13dpo today and BT is tomorrow, but I think my game is up. I will try and stay positive until the result is confirmed by BT, but I'm not very hopeful. My fertility nurse called me this morning to check how I'm going, and I told her my concerns that I don't think it's worked. She said the blood could be there for any number of reasons and we won't know for sure until the BT. I suspect she was just trying to make me feel better, which I guess is part of her job.
Saph - I'm so sorry to hear about your results. I will still keep my fingers crossed for you for your BT on Friday.
Seph - fingers crossed that what you're feeling is implantation cramps.
Will keep you all posted on my BT results tomorrow.
Wishes xoxo

| | impact of crinone on af
Hi All,
I am a newbie to this so may not have all the lingo. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if crinone delays af or masks the usual symptoms. I don't feel any pms symptoms and don't know if this is a good thing or whether it's just the effects of the crinone.
I had my pg test this am and will know the results soon anyway but would appreciate any info as this morning is taking forever!
Cheers and thanks

I tried to convince myself it was something else but my period has definitely started. Am sitting in the library at uni trying to study for end or year exams whilst bawling (very quietly). I honestly feel so defeated.
Wishes I hope like hell you're wrong and at least one us gets a BFP.
All the best

Delly, so sorry to hear that. GL with the study. Can you afford to take an afternoon off and just do something nice for yourself so you feel a bit better?
Wishes, FX it's one of the other reasons and you get a surprise tomorrow.
rachelj, it's possible that crinone can delay AF. It didn't for me when I used 2/day, but it has this time when I've been using 3/day. It can do funny things in terms of symptoms/signs for some people. Every responds differently. I still seem to get my usual pms cramps when I'm on it. GL.

Hi GL,
Thanks for your prompt response. Since posting AF has arrived so I think the phone call will be a formality.
I feel surprisingly numb about it all - wonder when that will change....
Thanks and good luck to you too,
Rachel
PS - I had a quick flick through your blog and if enjoyed it. Don't know if that's the right word but can't think of a better one. |

Hi everyone,
I have just finished my 8th offical TWW, but haven't posted in this thread lately and have been keeping a low profile.
After 4.5 years TTC with unexplained infertility, 5 stim cycles, 4 FETs, an IUI and a total of 7 ETs, I have for the first time ever a , today 15dpo hcg is 202 . I am over the moon.
I just couldn't resist posting my BFP in the TWW, I have waited forever to be able to do this, I just can't believe it, it feels so unreal.
Wishing everyone still waiting the best of luck. Big hugs to all xx

| | Hello!
Hello everyone! This is my very first post!! OMG, I am so relieved that i am not the only person that goes insane during TWW! I have spent an hour on here reading all these posts and think this is an awesome support network! I am currently 5 days away from my period due date, boobs are a bit sore, tired and cranky...but that's kinda normal in the week leading up to my period!
Oh, any help on the af,dop, bla bla bla lingo would be greatly appreciated! LOL! |

BDT - Have already said it but will say it again..... Congratulations!!
Delly - Looks like AF has decided to visit both of us today. Damn her!! I would love to hope for a miracle and for this bleeding to be something else, but I think I'd just be kidding myself. DH is refusing to give up until proven by BT tomorrow. He's so sweet. Delly, I hope you can try and put this to one side until after your exam on Saturday. I'm thinking of you and hope you get a BFP really soon. Maybe we'll be back in the TWW together again.
Rachel - Welcome. Shame it couldn't be under better circumstances. I'm sorry about your BFN and I hope it works out for you.
Wishes xoxo

Hi Ladies,
I've just had one of the worst days at work, resulting in a downright *****y week. I had to deal with a client today who has a mental illness, and unfortunately my work obligations mean that despite being verbally abused, insulted, yelled at and told she would complain about me, I had to keep working with her. You can probably guess that I work for the government, in a social welfare context. I'm so exhausted.
To top that off, one of my staff has called in for a fifth week of sick leave and despite everyone trying desperately to cope with her absence, another staff member (Generation Y, don't get me started!) thinks I should let her do her 'extra curricula' activities whilst everyone else works their butts off with the extra work load. I won't be the boss anymore after next week, and I'm sooooo looking forward to handing over this Problem Child. Sorry, this really shouldn't be loading up the TWW thread.
Delly - so sorry chook, I hope you're okay. Hang in there, we're thinking of you and expecting big positives in the future. Good luck with the exams.
Rachelj - welcome, and sorry about your news as well. Feel free to offload in this thread - as you can see, I do.
BDT - Some good news for a change! Well done, and all the best for a H&HP!
Mrzbaby - welcome! I hope your TWW is stress-free (ha!) and positive. When do you test?
Wishes - thinking of you and sorry about AF arriving. Keep strong.
Con - welcome as well! If you're having trouble with the lingo, you'll pick it up soon enough, but there are some help threads with the abbreviations. Here's some to get you started - AF - (Aunty Flo, your period)
TTC - trying to concieve
HPT - Home Pregnancy Test
POAS - Pee on a Stick
And my personal favourite - AFM - As For Me! (I got confused about that because AFM in my line of work is actually the Affected Family Member in family violence matters).
AFM - still funny stabs and pinches. No doubt it's nothing but paranoia. Will keep you posted.
Sorry, very long post.
Seph
