Ladies,
Hope you're all doing well in here. Who's up for a BT in the next week? Thinking of you all.
Beata, how are you going? GL for tomorrow. Surely no AF is a good sign so far?
AFM, these cramps have kept me awake all night, and I'm so tired. Only a bit of white cm this afternoon, although I thought I saw a flash of pink so over-analysed that for awhile. (.)(.) are still tingly, sort of heavy, but nothing terribly painful. Cramps have been on and off but quite intense -they are so like AF cramps that I keep running to the loo, because surely cramping this much must mean the Witch has arrived. But no show yet. What's terrible about that is that my mind is going crazy with wondering. Can't believe I would ever say this, but sometimes getting AF is better than having to wait for her...I'm tired, emotional and grumpy, just from wondering.
I thought today would be the day I would start spotting, if AF were to arrive. Alas, the fact that I haven't started spotting means nothing - spotting could start at any minute, or it could not start and keep me in suspense for another 48 hours..or 72 hours...and on and on until BT next Monday. My BT request is dated 27 July, but I've already looked at it and wondered whether I could forge the 27 into a 24 and go on Friday...that would be 14dpo, but would the Nurses tell me off?
Right, I'm off to check myself into a mental institution. Hope you're all either coming with me to keep me company, or going well enough to not need to.
Love,
Seph

Hi Girls,
I had an app. today with my FS (I made it a few weeks ago thinking it would be after my BT so in case the FET didn't work we could discuss the next cycle) and I told him I've already done several HPT's and he suggested a BT today. So I had it and he just rang at 7pm (does this man stop working at some stage? lol) and it's a BFP girls! I'm convinced now I'm pg, before I thought the line might just disappear! I thank God for his blessing and for making my dream come true, although I feel like I have a long road in front of me still. Thanks so much for all your support and well wishes girls. I truly hope & pray the recent BFPs rub off on everyone still waiting
Seph, I pray AF stays away for you hunni, wishing and praying for a BFP for you too
Love
Beata xxx

SammieJam & Beata70 - A BIT FAT CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BOTH!!! What a wonderful result. Wishing you both H&H pregnancies and that it is smooth sailing for you both from here on in. Quote:
Right, I'm off to check myself into a mental institution. Hope you're all either coming with me to keep me company, or going well enough to not need to.
Love,

| Seph - I will join you - maybe we can get a group discount! (yes it's 1:30 am, have been asleep but am now up and about, obsessing - ie going crazy)
AFM: Have had slightly stronger AF-like cramping the last couple of days and (.)(.)'s are no longer tender (disappeared overnight!) so I am feeling less & less confident this month. My BT is not due until 29th and I guess today is now considered 13DPO. No AF as yet (touch wood), so there is still hope....

Hi Girls,
Thanks so much for the congrads, I really appreciate the support as the only person in real life who knows is DH.
Welcome to all the gals just starting their 2ww. Hang on to your hats and let the poking and prodding begin! Have you all notified your local chemists yet? You gotta make a flyer with your photo on it that says "DO NOT SELL POAS TESTS TO THIS WOMAN" and give it to the pharmasist. hehehehehehe.
Beata, YAAAAAAAAY GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How wonderful!!!!!! and a relief. Its like a weight is lifted off your shoulders as soon as you get the bt back isnt it.
Seph - hang in there hon. I am STILL feeling like I am about to have the witch appear at any moment. Crampy pains, sweet-salty cravings, ovaries feel like they being squeezed - the whole 9 AF yards. Yet I am most certainly preggo. I laid up on the couch for nearly the entire tww and totally indulged myself. I had not done that on my unsucessful cycles. I also flew in a plane, had a pint of guiness and some other things which shall remain nameless but was advised against for 2 weeks after ET...(damn man finds it difficult to dirty paws off). Anything and everything to relieve stress and keep me happy. And it worked! So just go and spoil yourself. There could be something in it
Hugs, best wishes and sticky babydust to all!
Sammie

Beata, huge congrats on your BFP, I'm so happy for you.
Thanks everyone for your thoughts but unfortunately I got some brown spots this morning. Feel completely devastated, am just going to cry on the couch. Bbs still tingly but less so, but feel like throwing up. All these symptoms are different to previous TWW, but that only makes me more crushed and frustrated. WTF? I'm sick of asking WTF?
Our computer is broken so I might be offline for awhile. Will see you all again soon,
Seph

Seph, sorry you feel a bit down but don't lose hope until proven otherwise...

Hi Girls,
Thanks so much for your lovely words and wishes, you made me get all emotional!
Danyelle, jayejaye & wishes, thank you so much girls and I wish you the very best for your next cycle. Keep going girls as it does happen, that lovely BFP is just around the corner for you,I've no doubt
Seph, I still have my fingers crossed for you hun. If AF comes, I know you will find the strenght to try again, thinking of you and sending you all the positive sticky vibes I can muster hun
Sammie, look after yourself and I wish you a smooth road ahead x
Cuddlepie, thanks hunni and I can't wait for your BFP soon too
Girls, I also wanted say that in this cycle I took a few days off after my transfer and took it really easy. I just lay on the couch for a few days and did absolutely nothing. I really believed this have helped my little embie to latch on tight. So I guess my advice would be to take it easy & spoil yourself. Good luck to everyone still waiting for that beautiful miracle to happen, I know that it will, you are all so deserving of it.
Love and big hugs
Beata xxx

Seph - hang in there and try and relax - althought that's much easier said than done.
I'm back in the wait - had 2 eight cell day 3's transferred on Monday and already I can't concentrate. I had a dream about snakes the other day. One was dead and I picked up the other 2 snakes and they wound themselves around my arm. They were all baby snakes. My DH has convinced me this means twins (and the dead one was the baby we lost last year).
Now - I respect that other people may believe in dreams but not me. I don't believe in this sort of stuff. And yet I just found myself researching snake dreams on the internet. That is what the TWW has reduced me to. I'm now a snake dream believer :-)

One of my very close friends is a Lakota Indian (Native American Indian Tribe)
During my 2ww she was away at a big pow-wow. I asked her to please send some prayers and ju-ju (or whatever it was she does) up to whoever she sends that stuff too. Well she told her mother elders and they all got together and sent "Grandmother Moon" messages. It took a whole night and involved all kinds a crazy stuff. And guess what. IT WORKED. So now I am a believer too. Glad I am in good company. |

Hello! A newbie here...
We've just done our first IVF - transferred one blastie and one partially compacted on 21/7. Due for a bt on 31/7. Can't stop looking at all the symptoms I could have and analysing everything. I've never been pregnant and now at 40, only met my DH 3 years ago... hoping we can make this work!
