Okay, I'm going out on a limb here. I've got a packet of HPTs in my bathroom cupboard, and for the first time ever, I'm committing myself here that I will NOT test before BT.

AF may arrive and give me an answer anyway, but otherwise, it'll be wait and see. And you girls are gonna keep me in check.

So, from a self-confessed HPT addict, I am now joining HPTA - HPT Anonymous. I solemnly declare that I will not POAS before BT.

There. I said it. Now, can I stick to it?

WLAB stands and says "I too am an addict", and I too solemny declare that I will not POAS in this tww. We have all gone through so much to get to BT, I think it is only fair we give ourselves hope for as long as possible.

Hi Girls,

WLAB and Seph, you go girls! It's so hard not to give in to the evil pee stick (and the digital ones too), I wish I had the strength. I have gone through my fair share of them too, never having the chance to see that lovely 2nd line. My HPT a day before my BT last year was negative, but the BT confirmed a positive. Go figure.

Wishes, GL in your natural cycle hun

AFM, my BT is scheduled for 23/7. Not feeling much ATM, boobies a bit sore but then again they are always sore a week before AF is due. I'm having funny niggly dull pains down there since my FET, but that's about all. I'm not too worried at this stage as I had absolutely no symptoms last year. I've already made an app. with my FS and my IVF nurse next week if I don't get my BFP to start a fresh stimulated cycle asap (with the next AF, not that I wish to get it!!). Gotta have plan B I say...

& to us all in the 2WW!

Beata x

WLAB and Seph: You both are stronger than me. I gave in last night and also this morning. I am still trying to be sensible and realistic as I have had false starts before but both times the stick had two blue lines within 30 seconds. Possibly a good sign my DH thinks. I took the tests as my tummy was rumbling and was scared it was all over. Now I need to wait until BT tomorrow and that phonecall!!! I hope that your pact holds firmer than mine and when that BT day comes there are some BFPs for you.

Wishes all the best with the natural cycle.

Beata70: Here's hoping that you don't have to use plan b.

Krikkit: I have never heard of all the excuses they were coming up with about your age. The whole reason that you are seeing a FS is that you are wanting a baby in your life now, not 7-9 years, so yes it is important to you. I am at the other spectrum of age yet my FS has been realsitic and not blammed my age, just said it will happen it may take time. All the best.

Ok, in a fit of insanity I destroyed all my hpt's. I was having crazy ideas about testing right now just so I could see what it felt like to see the 2 lines. (last pregnal was on saturday, probs would still be in my system...) then I realised how truely freaking NUTS that would be as I know I would most likely go ballistic when the bt is neg.

I am losing it arent I.

Damn hormones.

Hugs to all you sweet gals.

Sammiejam: No you are not nuts. Those hormones are just at it again. Well done on throwing them away, I gave into temptation!!!! All the best and hope that BT date comes along very soon for you.

I am joining all you girls in the loony bin. As I mentioned I bought the three HPT's the on Monday just so I had them. They were calling me so of course I had to POAS despite all the info that's been posted on here about when the HCG might show. Of course I got a BFN - why do we do it to ourselves. I felt so stupid afterwards. The clinic rang yesterday morning and said it probably wouldn't show anyway but would in the next couple of days. I'm determined not to test until Saturday now even though I wanted to this morning. Good on you girls for waiting until the BT, I'm just not that strong. The TWW is torture!!!

Oh girls, why would I need HPTs when I've got you all to keep me sane? I love that we're all feeling and doing exactly the same things, even though we know it's useless and will only make us more frustrated.

Having said that, Babydreams, it looks like you might have some good news?! for tomorrow.

Janie, put the HPTs done and step away. When's your BT? You're probably way too early!

WLAB, thanks for joining me. Together we shall be victorious. Today, HPTs. Tomorrow, the World. (I say this now, but I've still got 12 days of my TWW to go until BT...)

Sammiejam, I think it's hilarious that you destroyed your HPTs. I haven't quite gone that far, but I may have to ask DH to do it if the temptation takes me.

Thinking of you all, a big to everyone I missed,
Seph

You girls make me laugh, and I really need it today!

Babydreams, yey!! Sounds really positive hun, I reckon you have a BFP!!!!! I pray your BT confirms this tomorrow

Janie, I'm sure it's way too soon to test. Besides, I got a BFN a day before my BFP was confirmed with a BT in my last pg, so I wouldn't rely on them stupid sticks

Sammie, you've made me smile today, thanks hun! I'm sure it's those crazy hormones...hehe.

GL to us all waiting, waiting.........hope we get a big surge of BFPs in here soon!!!

Persephone & Beata - my blood test is Sunday. Yep way early and the funny thing is I knew that before I did it but just thought I'd torture myself all the same.

Babydreams - here's hoping and praying you have some good news for us.
Good to have some laughs going on in here, it's a good distraction.

Hi Gals or should I say fellow inmates

Purse, you cant be in full recovery until those poas's are in the bin ! I gave mine to a g/f, and dont her not to give them to me under any circumstances

Beata, r u doing a fet embie on board as we speak ? Your BT is on the same day as mine, and you just reminded me to ring and make an appointment with my FS

Samie; Blame the hormones hun, that's what I do, mine are sending me into fits of grumpiness, I cant help it, Im so wound up

Janie: Best of luck for your poas

AFM: 4DP2BT - Try and figure that one out My symptoms are twingy uterus and headache's, however twinging is most likely EPU related or the crinone x 2 each day, and headache's from withdrawals of the fsh's, the time I need a coffee or a bottle of wine the most, I can't have it Just a little winge, the sacrifice is worth it. I am so crazy busy at work, which is wonderful distraction, but I am worried the high stress will impact on implantation, though It's out of my hands, I have surrended, that I did the best I could getting to blast, and I have to let the universe decide our fate.

I must add, having had a blast transfer on Sunday @ 7.45 am, why did they make me wait 16 days post epu for a BT, so really we are having a 3 WW ...

Sorry gals if I sound grumps .. it's the hormones, any one else grumpy

and for all xxx

Hello fellow TWWers.

Yes it is good to get on here and remind yourself that you're not going crazy and that others are on a similar journey.

Had bt this morning and came back positive. I think i was in shock, as didn't jump up and down. Due to my age I have a greater risk of mc but yeah we at least have a fighting chance and are on our way,

Good luck ladies and those hpt are just torture we bring upon ourselves, hope you remain strong and fight the urge.

WLAB, I had a day 6 frozen blastie transferred, and the BT is only 12 days later. When I had a fresh transfer last year, my EPU was on 22/5, transfer was on 27/5 and I got my result on 6/6. So from EPU to BT it was 16 days.
Counting from EPU it's a bit longer to BT than when you have a FET, as they have to fertilize the eggs first in the fresh cycle and with FET the eggie is already fertilized. Hope that makes sense....

B x
