Hi all,
Sorry I've been offline for a while. Tried to get on last night but couldnt get the site up for some reason!
Mrs P: Sounds like your follies are on track. I'm usually around 12-14 millimetres for my first scan. Hopefully they keep up the growth rate!
Miss K: That book sounds good, I'll look into it. I also had a magazine I bought once called "Making babies' which had heaps of helpful info related to infertility (they also have a magazine out called "pregnancy and birth" which people may be familiar with). When I tried to buy the next issue I found out it was a one off print and ? havent even seen the original reprinted since- shame.
Spring: I'm not sure about sleeping on your tummy when pregnant, but I always thought you could just sleep on it as long as it was comfortable? And re the pessaries, they are horrible, I forgot how horrible they were until I started using them again last week.
Juniper: Good luck with your scan tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
Tiggerlinda and Baby2Bee: How are you both going? Hanging in there?
Mrs Zeg: So sorry to hear of your homesickness, it makes it all the harder. That's why I think support groups like this are important. I laughed when you talked about your poor
DH being deprived, mine feels the same. He says to me the other day "this whole IVF thing isnt that great for our sex lives it it hon?" Poor thing, he's so patient though.
Loops12: Good luck with your first IVF. After doing 4 IUI's I was so nervous for my first IVF. But I think it's a lot of fear of the unknown, it's much less scary the second time (but fingers crossed you wont need a second attempt).
Esperan: How did you go with your scan yesterday? What's the verdict? I've nee thinking of you.
Sandygirl: Syneryl definately makes
AF late. My period is always on time except when taking progesterone (injections) or syneryl. I'm on provera to ensure
AF arrives, and even though I've been told by nurses it should only be a couple of days late, I have had one 3-4 days late and one 7 days late on syneryl. The 7 day one was a nightmare because I was basically PMS for 2 weeks and felt like I was going to explode. I wanted to hide form the world!

Hopefully yours won't be that late!
JBM: I think focussing on getting healthy during your wait is a great strategy. It's so good for your mental wellbeing not to mention priming your body for pregnancy.
Now I hope I didnt forget anyone, I tried really hard not too!
AFM: I had EPU last Wed. Was so sick afterwards and the whole thing has taken so much out of me I've been struggling to do the basics since. But here's my results:
EPU: 15 eggs
Day 1: 9 mature, 6 fertilised
Day 2: All 6 embryos doing well, 2-4 cells, "A" grade (what does this mean?)
Day 3: 1 embryo slowed down in growth, the rest going really well, in fact a couple are morulas (ie a day advanced than where they should be- this is a good thing)
Day 4: No phonecall - was so upset!
ET yesterday: I hatching blastie transferred. They will freeze 3 others (hooray! I didnt get any frosties last time) and make a decsion on the other 2 tomorrow.
Today: They will not freeze the other 2, one is a blastie but with poor looking cells, the other stopped growing yesterday.
But
DH and I are feeling very positive about the results. I guess I should move on over to the TWW thread.
I will be checking in and will be thinking of you all. And can I say I have found this the most wonderful experience being online with you all this time, made it much easier than last cycle doing it alone. Thanks girls.
