Tigga - fingers crossed for you. I just picked up some wheatgrass powder in the regular supermarket last night. What kind of wheatgrass were you taking?

Tigga: that sounds wonderful, keeping fingers crossed for you - also very interested in what type of wheatgrass you were taking have looked around and there is no place close to me where I can get it fresh, wondering if the dry stuff has the same effect?

Hi Tigger, that is amazing, wouldn't it be increadible if this cycle resulted in a BFP after Oing so early. I wonder if it has anything to do with the whole lunar fertility cycle, you know they say you can ovulate at other times during the month based on the moon cycle you were in when you were born, or something like that.

I wish you all the best with this cycle.

Me, I am CD 6 and just hanging out for a natural O to do a FET this month.

Sara, buliej, I did hear that freash wheatgrass was better, but also expensive. I ended up buying wheatgrass tablets and still take them when I remember.

Hugs

Ladies, I hope you don't mind me joining in...its just so interesting to read about older women / high FSH...Tiggar, your story is just amazing, how on earth will we know our body works? I hope its a BFP miracle.

I don't even know what my FSH is but will remember to ask this time. About to embark on an Antagonist cycle and a bit anxious. Not because I was a poor responder but because last two down-reg cycle just didn't work.

Anyway, would love to see everyone's progress in this thread.

We're not alone afterall...welcome everyone!

Thanks Sara69 and everyone else for well wishes - i really appreciate it.

bulij - The wheatgrass I take is 'Morlife' Alkalising Wheat Grass, Certified Organic 200g Fine Powder. I mix a heaped teaspoon in water daily. I imagine licking the inside of your lawnmower catcher would taste the same - but it's bearable.
I think fresh would be optimum - but it was too inconvenient and too expensive to do. I don't know if it's what worked, but the last time I drank it for a month solid - my FSH was 6, then when I didn't take it my FSH was 13 and then 21, so I took it again this time. I put it in the 'who-knows?-but-it-sure-can't-hurt' category.

Baby Dreamtime - I've heard about the lunar calendar thingy - I'd love to know where this cycle of mine was in regards to the calendar - any advise on how I could find out...would be very interesting! Good luck with FET!!

Cuddlepie - don't find out your FSH...if it's a problem your FS will tell you, so obviously no problem for you. There's been good success with antagonist and poor responders - worth trying something different anyway. Good luck with it.

I will check in and post my result - it would indeed be a miracle!

Hi girls,

Tigga thanks for the info bout the wheatgrass, will get some as well - licking the inside of my lawnmower - sounds really yummy

Having all fingers and toes crossed for you.....

CP: I don't think they have tested your FSH so far as they didin't test mine for the downregulated cycle - they will probably not test yours unless you ask for it since you had a good response - depends on what you think - it's just another thing to worry about....

Have a great day,

Sara

Hi Girls,

Just reporting back from my first glass of wheatgrass jouice, it actually wasn't that bad, did it like a shot so didn't actually taste anything and took some other juice right after to get rid of the aftertaste. Think I'll do this daily from now on.... the things we do

I was able to purchase organic wheat grass powder in Safeway - in the health or natural foods section. We mixed it into a homemade smoothy today - didn't even taste it.

Hi,

I bought it in Newtown in a Healthfoodstore close to Missenden Rd (City side), I am sure there are plenty of other places too, mine is organic as well. they also had fresh juice that you would drink together with a banana/mango juice, could imagine that tasting quite okay.

Hi All,

Just checking in to let you know that my BT today was

My FSH was 5.7 - which is good...I think (I don't know if it's valid b/c it's not CD2 yet??). They will check it again on CD2. I am now waiting for AF and if FSH behaves will commence (yet again) IVF antagonist. Fingers crossed I don't just again this time before I even get to start.

Hope everyone else is faring better!

Tigga - so sorry it wasn't your month. I have never had anything but a Day 2 FSH so don't know much about what it means - you may want to try googling to see how much it varies depending on where you are in your cycle

Tigga very sorry to hear that. Think the 5.7 is a good sign in any case. for the new cycle - I'll hopefully also be able to start an antagonist cycle later this month.

Hiya
Me too pleassse. Im hoping to start an antagonist cycle approx late March (provided my FSH is low Im now taking organic wheat grass as well I figure its good for me anyway regardless of IVF). Im going to be on 600iu of FSH
Tigga- Big hugs to you sorry to hear that this month wasnt to be. A 5.7 FSH is quite good. Id be happy with that in fact, thats around what Im aiming for to cycle again late March.
Anyway good luck to everyone

Hey Dutchie, glad to have you! I am taking wheatgrass ATM too, only started yesterday, so I am hoping my FSH on day 1 (around mid March) will be low enough for me to start...

Keep checking in girls!

Hi All,

A quick update from me: My CD2 FSH today was 14.4! Clinic says to "still give it a go" and then after a little pep talk, asked me where I got up to with my donor option (Geez! Thanks for the show of faith in this cycle-NOT!) Right now, I am undecided as to what to do!

In some silly way I wish my FSH was 20++ again, b/c the decision would've been made for me and I could pursue another option I've started researching (NaPro). I know that sounds silly because I have waited sooo long to even start a cycle, but I'm just sooo dubious of IVF working for me with my history of high FSH...in all my internet surfing I've never read about anyone with high FSH having success on IVF...does anyone know of ANYONE? (Or maybe we need to lead the way ) I have the pill here and if I'm to start a cycle now, I need to start taking it tomorrow...I hate the pressure!! I want a friggin' 'Fertility-Ombudsman' to give me an unbiased ruling on which way it's best for a case like mine to go.

I'm also bummed that I stopped my daily wheatgrass about 3 weeks ago, after IUI and can't help but wonder if I took it would it be lower?

Cuddlepie - I've got my fingers crossed for you to have a low-low FSH to kick the cycle off with.

Dutchie80 - Welcome and thanks for your kind words. 600iu FSH is a good high dose - how did you get them to start you at that dose? My clinic is always conservative with it...starts low.

Sara69 & buliej - Hope all's good in your worlds!

BabyDreamtime - How's the FET coming along?
