Buliej- just wanted to pop in quickly and officially congratulate you on your BFP Wishing you the most enjoyable and uneventful next 8ish months oxo

to everyone hope things are well.

AFM- I'm still just laying low and thinking I might rev things up a bit so to speak in terms of supplements, herbs etc. and other things I could be doing to help our cause. I've bought The Fertility Cure by Randine Lewis and I'm going to look at my diet and give it a major overhaul and I was thinking of starting royal jelly.

Hi everyone! just wanted to stop in and wish you all the best, and hoping for more BFPs in here soon

Julie, hope things are going well...been thinking of you, I know how scary it is early on

Dutchie- that book sounds good, best of luck , so sorry things didnt work out this time, it's so tiring, but i hope you can re-energise and that your BFP is close

afm- thinking of delaying IVF until next year sometime, and trying naturally in the meantime and maybe taking a holiday. DH and I just feel like we need a bit of time for us, and like we need a break from constant TTC focus. Am not on here so much, but will probably start posting more again ...miss chatting with you all

buliej congratulations!!! What wonderful news, hope you're well and everything goes smoothly.

Infinity, hoping all is well with you.

Dutchie hope you're well and enjoying your little 'break'. How are you going with supplements etc? Looks like we're on the same page, I've just been given "The Fertility Diet" by Sarah Dobbyn and have started bee pollen as well

hi to everyone else, hope all is well xxx

hello everyone,

Possums, so glad you dropped in. have been thinking about you and wondering how you were doing. I think a TTC break sounds like a good idea, I've been on my first break in years and it's been quite good for me I think. It was definately time for me to start to live a bit again, hoping that your break does the same for you. I must admit that i haven't been able to completely 'turn off' the TTC thoughts but it's been a relief in some ways to be doing nothing about it for now. I say take that holiday and have a fabulous time! You sure deserve a treat.

Dutchie - I might look up that book and give it a try - what do you think of it so far?

Anyos - hi! bee pollen? is that for egg quality? what does it taste like? Good luck with it.

Hello to everyone else, hope you are all doing well. xx

AFM - thinking about calling my FS to have a chat about what to do next but to be honest I'm a bit frightened to go back in just yet. I'm still taking my vitamins and watching my diet. DH is taking all his vitamins and I've made him stop taking his acne medication. He's been on it for years and I've always wondered if it could be affecting anything. I'm fairly anti medications (so down reg was a nightmare for me!) so i'd prefer we were both not taking anything except vitamins or natural things. Time will tell, just got to get my mind right now and we'll be back into it.

Hi everyone

sorry for the selfish post

I underwent my 14th IVF cycle and received the news that i have a BFP (yesterday BT @ 16DPO was 55) However due to taking immune suppressants i have also started to get infection pain again, vent though all my test with the professor came back clear!

Today i have some more BT done with my GP and some swabs and when i called for the results was told i need to come in and see my GP, HCG has increased to 84 in 24hours. However i have been here all too many times, this is going to be our last TF and we are now looking to surrogacy, i think i read somewhere that someone else was going to look at an Indian agency?

so just wanted to vent a little, BBL with GP results.

Loula - I am so excited for you. I hope you have some good news to report later.

Infinity - does your DH take Menevit? my FS recommended it and I know partners of some ivf-ers here have had nice results from it.

Everyone else - big "HI" and thanks so much for your warm wishes...

Loula that's fantastic, hope everything works out

Infinity - I got bee pollen granules in honey which I just add to my smoothies, so no weird taste. Mind you with the herbs and thousands of vitamins that I'm on, it wouldn't make a difference if it tasted a little funky Its meant to be for egg quality and overall fertility. ATM I'm on:

Multivitamins
Calicum-Magnesium
Vitamin C
Iron
CoQ10
Vitamin E
Flaxseed oil
Probiotics
Selenium
Tyro plus/Organo Tyrobalance
zinc
Wheatgrass
DHEA
Bee Pollen
Aloe vera
Folic acid
Herbs/Tribulus Forte/Detox formula when not cycling

This is all based on the Jocelyn centre's program + the fertility diet book by Sarah Dobbyn

Am obviously a type 'A' personality....

Loula!!!! Just amazing. So happy for you. Will keep everything crossed for you and sending millions of sticky vibes. I understand this is a difficult time but am praying that it's definately your turn now. xxx

Buliej - yep DH takes Menevit, but only since last month - before he was just on zinc and folate. Here's hoping it makes a difference.

Anyos - do you rattle when you walk? lol Wow, that's a lot of stuff. Will be looking into some of the things in your list to see if they could help me in any way. Taking all those vitamins just has to get you your BFP next time.

Infinity

thankfully don't rattle but maybe I just don't hear it... When we were strictly on the Jocelyn centre program we were blessed with two healthy bubs, so I'm hoping that being back on it helps us again. Franchesca is a little hard core but she gets the results! Their website has some info that you can download Natural Fertility Management

xx

Hey girls,

infinity- I'm still waiting for the book to arrive (bought it off ebay for like $10- bargain) so I can't tell you what it's like so far. I believe it focuses a lot on eastern medicine and therapies and TCM. Can't wait for it to arrive.

anyos- I'm doing fine with supplements I'm on fish oil, folic acid, BM Conceive Well, I take herbs from the AP (not sure what they are called, they look like little rabbit droppings) and I take organic wheatgrass. I'm also going to start taking royal jelly in tablet form, you said you take bee pollen which one/brand do you take and are they tablets?
BOL with it all I'll have my fingers crossed for great results for both of us.

Possums- A break can be just what the doctor ordered sometimes. I hope you have a blast reconnecting with DH and not having TTC the main focus. I look forward to chatting with you whenever you're ready to return.

Loula- a quiet congratulations to you hun. I hope your infection clears up and you recover quickly. Sending you a truckload of the stickiest sticky vibes and like infinity, I'm praying that it's your turn.

A big hello to everyone hope things are well.
