Default Tattoo ideas pls

Hi

My sister and I (perhaps my mother but not counting on it) are wanting to get a tattoo that links us. A mate of mine and her sister has 'my sister' in french on the back of her neck. I was thinking something like that but french has no connection to us so not really our thing. Plus we were thinking about getting it on the inside of our feet. As in perhaps writing above the arch.
We have nothing that really means 'US' so to speak but was wondering if anyone has any ideas that might get my imagination going

Thanks in advance for any help...

I have just watched some of Miami ink on DVD they do some great stuff and give you heaps of ideas... otherwise you should google what things you all like...

I have no idea what things you like... if your girly then you could always get a rose each a different colour on your foot...

I want a Green tree frog on my foot one day

I also want a pin - up - girl type mermaid on my back or ribs... ( havent told BHL this yet )

Check how long that tatt will last though - for some reason I'm not sure if they go well there...

Tattoos are all permanent. They work because the ink is actually ingested by local white blood cells (macrophages) and because they can't digest the ink, it sits in their "body" and changes the colour of them. It's actually a permanent immune response, which is why the edges blur over time. I love tattoos and biology, so when I read this bit of info I thought it was really cool and it stuck with me!

I was going to get a tat on my foot BUT my tatoo artis told me that tats on your feet do not hold very well and may need to be done many times over to get a good one. I have a few mates that have foot tatts and they have all had to have them re-done a few times - one of them 6 times!
And the foot is the most painful part to get a tat!! I have 5 and they are all painfull but my tatoo artist told me that even he cried when getting his foot done.
Just something to think about.
Im going in for my wrist ink in a few weeks!!

is it harder to tattoo (from the tattoist's perspective) on some areas than others?

ETA - question answered!

What about all of your initials? Or can you make a word by using the first two letters of each of your names? Example:

Sarah, Leanne, Teresa

Letesa
Saleta
tesale

etc
