it is so frustrating isn't it.. when we had our 3rd boy one comment I had just made me so mad.. Are you disappointed he was a boy? I said yeh sure.. might put him back till his bits fall off.. such comments don't even need to be said..
Anyways how is everyone and thier tribes today
I have a very very very very annoying 4 yr old. He has been like this since September. I am starting to wonder if he doesn't have a virus or something or maybe he is just being a total.. poop head.
at the moment he is sitting in the hallway crying and yelling. has been doing this for the past 40 mins because................ I dared turned off the kids channel to watch the melbourne cup.. and he does it over everything.. if you don't get him a juice or cordial (no I don't give in) We have a rule. water before any other drink. So frustrating

It must an age thing then.. So frustrating. Niether of my older 2 boys did that at 4.
I do wonder if he is getting bored. it is usually to hot to go out the backyard in the mornings and if Dh isn't home or is asleep after night shift we don't do much ( no license for moi)

| | Nic if the others are all at school I would say its boredom, I know my youngest is the same if we dont go out ( thank God I did get my license when I found out I was utd with Ds ) ...
I found people always said when I was UTD with my 3rd... why would you you have one of each isnt that enough... now when I say I would love a 4th, I dont get as many comments its almost like its ok because it will make our family even , that said now I am not even sure if we will have 4...
Coming from a large family and even now telling people I am one of 7 with 5 sisters and one brother, they always ask if my parents were trying for the boy... like a boy is all they wanted and us girls werent good enough for them... I was lucky though as my brother came 1st and us girls came after, so even with comments like that we always knew our parents wanted us for us and not for the boy... not that would have been the case even if he did come last, they just wanted a big family, or should I say mum did, Dad always said he only wanted 2 or 3, not that he doesnt love us, its just the number he wanted, mum wanted 8, she lost one so in a way she did...
BHL did a turn around the other day... we have been TTC our 4th for 11mths, about 2 or 3 mths ago BHL started to get 2nd thoughts about the 4th, I was very upset, but understood, so last month I stoped temping, charting started the caffine again, but sisnt go back on anything... then the other day BHL was joking around about maybe he should give up caffine too... I was talking about someone who just had a baby, and that there are 5 woman UTD who I meet up with every week... so he come out with do you really think we could travel australia ( we are planning on this in a few years ) with 4 kids... Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr men always like to give you a curve ball... I am still not getting my hopes up seeing as its been 11mths and nothing has happened, I think I will just leave it as it is for now and see what happen, if its meant to be it will be.... we are young and have plenty of time...

I have to admit 4 is a little tough to begin with but we have settled into a nice little thng now. I can't say routine because we are fairly flexible but we have a flexible routine I guess lol
When I brought up the idea of number 4 with Dh he was adamant 3 was plenty. I used to talk and talk and beg in the end I had decided ok 3 was enough and later that week Dh turned around and said ok lets go for a 4th haha..
so here we are number 4 and we travel Australia We did it with 3 kids in 06 and all 4 in July/august this year It can be done and is a lot of fun.. Our next trip is to WA

Ahh yeah, men & their curveballs... DH only wanted 2, then we had 3, I was dying for a 4th but he was definite.
I used to dream of babies & wake up crying
When I found out I was PG with AR he was more excited than me, I couldn't quite grasp it was real... so anyway he changed his tune in a heartbeat when he found she was on the way.
And when I told him about the dreams I had he said he didn't know, why hadn't I told him... becasue you were so adamant you didn't want more !
oh well
TBH I haven't (so far) found four any harder than going from two to three, but I have a BIG advantage with the age gap. If I had had it my way, I would have done it earlier but I do think it's turned out for the best as it is. The other kids are such a huge help & pretty well able to look after themselves. Probably teh biggest thing is that we are busy, there's a lot more going on but she fits in pretty well & we have at least 2 days a week just at home, her & I

Plus all three including the 3 year old boy loves their little brother to pieces. We don't make the older two only do babysitting duty and never do anything they want, but they do help out from playing with or keeping an eye on the younger two. It's been a very big help and although dW is not keen on having baby's this late in life, I think it has worked out better this way.
Now she wants more and all three of the older kids want another baby too.

Well I think Ill be in here more often now.
Yesterday my mothers partner was in a farming accident where as I can gather he has been run over by a tractor. One of his legs is broken, nearly all the bones in his foot are broken, he has bleeding on the brain and internal bleeding. He was airlifted from Mareeba to Cairns and is in a coma.
Mum had to go to as she is his next of kin and they need her consent for surgery and well she couldnt bare to be away. So until she returns I have my 12 year old sister (T), 9 year old disabled brother (KC) and 5 year old sister (K).
Im so exhausted. Monsters all got up at 5.30am and the kids were so loud that DS only got an hour nap instead of his usual 2.5 to 3hours, so of course he was a bucket of sunshine today.
Ive decided if WW3 can break out in the house over something as simple as so and so making eye contact this will be a very long and uncomfortable stay. To keep them busy today we made sock puppets, did a painting each, the girls made a mask each and the older 3 made keychains. I am covered in so much glitter I fell like I should be on stage
K was great today with DS. She used to smack him and say she hated him all the time but now that hes doing more shes more receptive to him. They even cuddled together on the couch watching a dvd before bed.
Im having issues with KC though. He is still in the middle of being diagnosed so I have no answers on a medical front but KC has reverted back to wetting and pooing his pants. I even caught him today pooing in DS' room (which is right next to the toilet ). The only way around this is if I ask him every 15 mins to go to the toilet and with DS and the girls and the lovely pregnancy brain Im not always thinking of his toileting behaviours. Its not cz of whats happened as KC was doing this at mums anyway.

| | I take it there is no one else who can help you out atm, been 30 weeks pregnant is hard enough let alone having 3... you should be on bed rest as it is... I your mum's DP is ok...
Gee there has been alot of farming accidents at the moment, I wonder why...
do they have a fav movie ? if you dont have many go to the dvd shop and let the pick out some to hire, that should keep them a little entained, what about school are they still going to be going to school to give you a break...

Rhyb - your a brave lady! Methinks Dh doth protest too much about baby #4...............when I moved half our cot got lost. So they gave us $$$ to buy a new one and Ive been trying to decide whether to buy a cheap 2nd hand one to last him til he'sn 12mths then put him in a bed like the others; or if there was a chance of another bub buying a decent 2nd hand one. Or just buying him a toddler bed if we're 3 and done.
I asked Dh yesterday what I shouldn do because Stells needs his own bed now and cant sleep in a portacot forever. And he said "............I dont know, we should probably make a solid decision either way soon............." Which means he's on the fence instead of an emphatic no like he implies.
Good cause thats what the psychic said in my reading on saturday; there will be a #4 just that I should wait a bit and give me sometime to rest and recover. And that she'll be a funny little mini-me..........

Thanks guys for all your kind words.
I cant get the kids to school as they live in another town and school is over an hour away and I have no license so unfortunately theyre here all the time and get no break from one another.
Im getting better with their huge tantys over everything but its frustrating cz you say to KC dont do that youll get hurt and what do you know he keeps doing it and gets really hurt. Honestly its like hes DS' age so very frustrating trying not to yell at him. Ive had to take babyproofing a step further and 'babyproof' anything KC can reach cz he does the same silly stuff DS does (eg playing with powerpoints). Next step is taping his hands together I swear.
On a good note I have the older 3 being babysat this afternoon as Aiden and I are going to get my maternity shots done Im so excited!!
