| | Think you are too small? Then see this (birth images/nudity)
This is a website of a midwife who attends births of small women who are told they have big babies, he has put their stories and images on a webpage just to show that it doesn't matter how small you are or how big your baby is, your body is perfectly capable! Too Small?

Wow! You can really see how tiny these women are when the heads are crowning. That's really inspiring thanks for posting it.
And I was pretty impressed a few weeks ago when one of my mums, who is so teeny tiny and slim and 50kg prepreg - shot out her 9.5lb first babe in six hours

How great is it that it's a male midwife? Amazing stuff - especially the last one. You don't appreciate the size of the head compared to the pelvis til you see pics like that.
Sam, the link isn't working for me.

OMG at that moulding!!! I thought Lindsay's was bad when he was born, but by golly that takes the cake. I could look at these all day LOL. I wonder how tall he is for comparison?

That is amazing!
I was always told that I would never be able to give birth naturally, being a small woman. I am 5ft tall and was 47kg before falling pregnant with my 1st. I put on 20 kg with that pregnancy, and naturally birthed a 9lb 1oz (4.1kg) 56cm long baby with a 36cm head circumference, after 6 hours of active labour. Two days later I was discharged from hospital.
It just goes to show that the female body is truly amazing!

That moulding is extreme! Punky's head looked like a jelly bean when she was born (didn't get a picture damn it!!) & I am so NOT small!
Great pics/stories for those who are worried about their body's ability to birth their child.
