question for homebirthers

despite the fact i cant afford one now i may in the future

wat do u do if the local hospital is not somewhere i want to be if something goes wrong not saying that will happen but still wat happens? next closest hospital is 100kms away

You usually go to the one that you are booked into (although you don't have to book in if you don't want to). However, it will depend on the circumstances. If it's life threatening, it'll be straight to the closest, especially since your next closest is 100km away.

you go where you have to go cos generally you only transfer because you have to not because you choose to.
remembering that you will have the ultimate support with you that should step up and get in the way if docs are going to get nasty (although you M/W may not be able to "practise" in the hospital) they can be your advocate!

also have a good look at the stats of 2nd timers transfer rates...... you shouldnt need to transfer..
