Question VBA2C experienced Midwife in Brisbane

I have now had 2 CS. The first one I went into premature labour at 28 weeks with twins, I was 19, told I needed a CS, so just said ok.

I was so prepared for a natural, drug free labour with my second baby, but ended up at 9cm getting a CS. (Head was transverse and I was not progressing, even when using Syntosin). After over 24 hours of full on contractions all my rational thoughts went out the window and I just said "whatever". I am so dissapointed now and I cry every time I read about a seccessful natural or VBAC birth.

I really need someone in Brisbane that can get me my natural birth for my next baby (I am not pregnant yet). I am really happy with the Royal Womens, but I keep hearing, from various staff, that I'll have a hard time finding someone who will do a VBA2C for me.

Has anyone had a VBA2C at the Royal in Brisbane? Or know of a very experienced doula/midwife who can almost guarantee (I know there's no real guarantee) me a natural birth?

Thanks so much.

Andrea (on the HMA's big list) herself has had a home VBA2C and I am quite sure she has supported them too.

I was going to say Andrea as well.....she was my HB MW and was amazing. To hear her tell her story of her HB VBA2C is amazing.... Glad you are not pregnant at the moment as i know she is busy.... You should contact her any to have a chat and prepare for your next pregnancy!
