Default Toddler sharing room, Ideas to get them to sleep

Hi, we are moving in December and for a couple of weeks my toddlers, 2yrs & 3 yrs will have to share a bedroom. The 3 yrs old can be difficult to get to sleep but my 2 yrs old usually goes to sleep after about 20 min... They go to bed around the sametime at the moment, 7pmish.

Any ideas or how you do it would be much appreciated because I am a big believer that we are a happier family the more sleep everyone is getting lol

Thanks in advance...

I would start now having them together. It does sometimes take a while for them to get used to the idea but usually the one who needs the sleep most will fall asleep first.
My GS are in the same room (19 month & just 3) and often we had to take the eldest out of the cot and put back into bed but that hardly happens now.
You will hear many giggles as they play together which is great to hear but frustrating when they are supposed to be asleep.
Good luck with this and your move later in the year.

Our 6yr old and 3.5 yr old share a room. There is 29mths b/w them. Be prepared for late nights (well....9pm for them, we put them in at 7pm), be prepared for lots of giggling, running outta bed, early, early wake ups (one would wake the other), but after ALL those teething probs die down, and the whole novelty of sharing a room with a sis or a bro has eased, it becomes easy, and you will be glad you did it. Now, we put them in at 7pm, hear a few giggles and talking, but by 730pm they are both asleep.
It took a good few months to get to this stage....my only advice is, dont expect it to be smooth sailing after a week.
We're in the process now of renovating our adjoining garage into a bedroom for the older girls - they want to share, they dont want their own room. !!!!
